I love it when Sainsburys have a beer bargain bin. Individual cans and bottles of Carlsberg, Fosters, etc which have been separated from the multi-packs. Labels have come off the bottles, cans are dented, and a quarter of the contents might even be curiously missing. But they're only 20p each, so I can't help filling the trolley. It's like I revert to studenthood.

Keef are you out of your bloody mind. You're paying ?6.58 for 4 pint size cans of beer!

Go to the Spar opposite fozzy hill swimming pools and you can get yourself 8 500ml cans of either Holsten, Kronenburg or Fosters for ?6.50!

Jesus Christ Keef, pull your bloody finger out!

Oh and just so you know. Keno's opposite fozzy hill Police station on Dartmouth road is open till about 6 a.m but the prices are a bit steep to say the least.

But you'd expect to pay a little extra for the atmosphere, convenience and if 'Neb' is on shift, access to the small but perfectly formed tins of Heinz Toast Toppers.

The cheese and ham if he's in a good mood.

Of course good ol' 187. He's got that poor outlook from being named after one of the crappest Samuel Jackson films.

They could have gone for Pulp, Snake or Coach Carter, but no 187, and we know what that's code for.

1 tin of minced beef

1 tin of mixed veg - diced

Powdered dried potato (not Smash)

Open tins, drain veg and empty mince and veg into pan. Heat until hot. Take off heat and slowly add dried potato powder while stirring. Stop when no more powder will be absorbed and the contents of the pan stay in place when inverted.

Add plenty of FGP. Scoff.

My boyfriend actually served me this for dinner last week...apparently man-flu was affecting his cooking skills.

Would you be the same silverfox who wrote 'this is haute cuisine a la East Dulwich - as is every Indian restaurant up and down the street. It's stodge for British people who don't have a clue what real food is and, if they did they wouldn't eat it' on the Le Chardon thread, by any chance? Just wondered...

Got a message back within a day to say medication ordered from chemist.

    • Oh give it a break.  We have an MP who makes racist comments, yet our media (and what seems like this Forum) that generally hate Labour (and loved Johnson) are just out looking for the dirt. It's a move on, nothing to see here.  Particularly if she used a letting agency.
