SHOTS were fired into a house after a street fight.

The brawl broke out between two groups of youths on Cronin Street, Peckham, at about 10pm on Sunday.

In the aftermath, four teenage boys were chased along the road by two teenagers, police said.

The four entered a nearby house and one of the teenagers chasing them fired shots through the window of the ground-floor front room.

The pair then ran off in the direction of Commercial Way.

No one was thought to have been injured.

All the youths are described as aged in their MID-TEENS.

The Met?s specialist shootings team is investigating the incident.

No members of the public were caught up in this but it is weird to think that there is some kind of parellel universe existing, in parts of an Area, so near and yet, in reality, so far from East Dulwich.

The really disturbing thing is that these Guys were in their Mid-Teens....

There is absolutely "no need" to publish the descriptions given in that South London Press report which did mention the Ethnicity of all suspects. In fact I deliberately removed the descriptions....

Interpret that as you will Hugo:)

I think that the feature Tony found most disturbing is that their trousers were hanging below their arse.

Or they weren't rate payers.

Remember Sean the primrose path is paved with good intentions and flattery ( or is it Nationalism) is the last refuge of a scroundrel...:)

Just that this is symptomatic of something occurring right on your doorstep, which, arguably, if it increases and spreads its tentacles just a little bit further, will impact adversely on the way of life for many on here ( Not Hugo!) and yet no-one really wants to discuss this problem, or even, acknowledge it, which I find strange, to say the least.

A cursory glance of most editions of The South London Press will show that there is still a real problem out there.

No, I'm in an agreeable mood.

    • Hope all the ‘high streets for people’ events went well! Very short notice probably for people living in the area and on a very hot day!  James McAsh just doesn’t know what to do next with Southwark Council Tax payers money. He advocates the few streets in the area that has a bus service and then shuts the routes down! Very annoying for people who want to go about their daily business and have already had restrictions brought in by McAsh.
    • Thank goodness for Greg. I had an awful situation whereby I was notified that water was leaking from my flat into the flat below me. I was 150 miles away at the time and had a panicked journey home not knowing what I was going to face.   I called Greg (after seeing reviews on the forum) as soon as I arrived home in the evening and he arrived just after 10pm and was able to shut off the problem. He had to come back to finalise the job which turned out to be caused in a communal area whereby there was a blockage in the stack pipe.   Greg worked quickly, efficiently and informed me every step of the way as to what he was doing and why. He also cleaned up really well afterwards.  Greg's charges are very reasonable and he will definitely be my "go-to" if I have any other plumbing issues in the future.
