Jeremy
Yeah crooked well is proper.Have really enjoyed ones previously at the Palmerston, but recent reports have not been so encountering.Pub roasts are almost always disappointing. Especially the tatoes. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/76485-best-roast-dinner-in-the-area/#findComment-906319 Share on other sites

Saus01
Have tried pretty much everywhere that has been rated highly on here. Crooked Well by a long way. Only place where the potatoes are anything close to home made quality and the roast chicken sharer is knock out. If it's fully booked, they do pretty much the same menu and quality cooking at the Perry Vale in Forest Hill; it's their sister pub. Has anyone been lately to the Ivy House Stuart Road se15 for roast dinner? I went 18 months ago and it was tasty but not enough of it for my liking!
