Peckhamgatecrasher
Don't be so vulgar. The only acceptable cocktail is a martini, and champagne should be quaffed before noon. Jeremy
I never even knew champagne supernova was a cocktail.I tried looking up a recipe, and the first one I saw was champagne, whisky, and port. It sounds absolutely disgusting. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7930-mojito-or-champagne-supernova/#findComment-246711 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
Whiskey (if you have to put something in it try a cube of ice). Failing that, a Whiskey Sour with real egg. lozzyloz
Don't know the name for this cocktail but it usually does the trick for me. Take a Champagne glass, add a teaspoon of sugar a couple of drops of Angostura Bitters a shot of Brandy then top with Champagne. mockney piers
With PGC, martini all the way. Hard to beat a good G&T too. I am partial to margheritas too mind, bloody mary's as hangover cure, tom collins on a hot day and all mashes and sours. Oh and yep, go mojito out of the offered choice. The old Spanish civil war cheers was 'salud, pesetas y mierda para la derecha'?good health, wealth and fuck the right! kpc
Margarita would be my favourite - had a good version at Boston airport earlier this summer with Grand Marnier added as a variation and served over rocks. Alternatively a Moscow Mule can really kick, depending on the spiciness of the ginger beer. Brendan
Actually cream egg goes quite nicely with Jack Daniels.Scotch egg not so much.Although Scotch and an egg maybe is you?re into that sort of things but maybe not a cream egg or a scotch egg for that matter. Are we clear? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7930-mojito-or-champagne-supernova/#findComment-246837 Share on other sites
Jeremy
How about a cream egg with a scotch egg?Or how about a scotch egg made with a cream egg instead of a proper egg? Ted Max
People may pretend to like cocktails, but deep down they know they are shit, don't they?(PS For the purposes of this unsupportable assertion, a G&T is not a cocktail) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7930-mojito-or-champagne-supernova/#findComment-246869 Share on other sites
Moos
I think deep down you may have to be right. We have an awful lot of booze in the house, and it's only the beer and wine that we ever run out of. Much as I'd like to come home from work and say Darling I've had a terrible day, mix me a Manhatten, a glass of red is just more appealing.
