woofmarkthedog
Martina looked like a girl who could turn out to be surprisingly creative in "some" other areas.Wooden yes, but some wood bends more than other if you get me.GrrW**F Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8060-strictly-come-dancing/page/4/#findComment-250154 Share on other sites
Nero
I think Joe C will lamp Bruno or Craig before long. Pansticked malevolence galore from him on Saturday night. Asset
Much better show this week. last chap v good, Ricky from Hollyoaks I believe, bird from Primeval good too, and I thought Natalie Cassidy put on a good show.I love it. I have to say I don't watch that much telly but this is something that I watch with a smile on my face all the way through - unless I'm cringing. Keef
Good to see you Quids. Asset, I think it is pretty good telly, although better when the rubbish people are gone in a few weeks. Moos
So what are you watching now? Somehow our telly seems to be focused on the very shiny Shakira. ????
I watch Tudors then retire to my study with Stella*. Moos
Your study? And what do you do there, while you sip your Stella, M. Le Quids? Is it your secret hideaway for plotting the overthrow of world government using threats from bombs constructed solely from old betting slips? ????
It counts as a 5th bedroom with estate agents, which is hysterical. It and my shed are my two favourite places 'chez moi'...I'm so predictable. All I need now is a cellar with a pool table and I'd die a happy man. Moos
Ha ha - when I was pregnant I got a sign made with the words "Mr. Moos'* Shed" and put it up - I suspected that in among the stresses of family life he might need a bit of man space. So I'm imagining leather buttoned armchairs, a green desk lamp, perhaps some hunting pictures? Double doors, so that no-one disturbs Daddy when he's 'sporting the oak'?Or is it like most people's spare rooms, a too-large wardrobe whose door won't shut from all the too-small clothes in it, lots of slightly broken Ikea furniture, a clothes drier, lots of suitcases, an old telly, and tucked away a tiny desk with your favourite chair, and bin next to it with lots of empty beer cans?*actually, I put his name, I'm not that much of an egomaniac Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8060-strictly-come-dancing/page/4/#findComment-252255 Share on other sites

????
Moos, where's your hidden camera? Is that it by my Viz annual collection?I also do honestly have a plaque with.."Quids HQ*" on my shed.*though not "Quids", as that would be silly, it's got my real name on it...Sterling Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8060-strictly-come-dancing/page/4/#findComment-252260 Share on other sites
Moos
I AM peering in.Still, I liked the idea of the study with the leather armchairs and the roaring fire. Ho hum. ????
I too aspire for a vicarage study. Rows of books, fire, old school four-poster globe, huge desk and a view accross a lawn with mole hills to a Norman tower...I'm not joking. Moos
I think I've said before now that I dream about having Prof. Higgins' study from My Fair Lady. The balcony of books... the spiral metal staircase... the stern but handsome Rex Harrison... sigh.
