Whenever I see this advert I often wonder how much cash you really get for your jewellery. They say they have professional appraisers/con men who exchange it for it's current index rating. I reckon you'd probably get a better deal if you took it down to cash converters.

I saw a clip on Youtube describing customer dissatisfaction in the U.S thanks to these gangs of internet pikey's robbing cash strapped halfwits of their sentimental bling.

If I'm to have any faith in the authorities I hope that the Office of Fair Trading will pull a sting on these crooks and do a massive shit on their heads.

I do RH, everyone knows from Shirley Bassey that Diamonds Are Forever, however those Spandau Ballet cornerboys insisted

#Gold, glad that you're bound to return# so small wonder that some dopey lollygaggers will put their tawdry baubles into an envelope, and trust to people they don't know.

Doubtless they'll squander the money on tickets and merch from the recently reformed Ballet tour, it's true.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
