Being a complete arse I of cousre haven't checked with her who holds the diary - this week I got the "You know I've got the babysitter for Saturday so we can go out for my birthday"...not quite as stupd as I sound as her birthday is infact the weekend after but she shares that with our son so for that reason I'm out. Too many BBC pundits have been optimistic today - I do not feel optimistic at all and fear this could be all over after tonight - but maybe its just fearing the worst - you never know.

I fear France might get an early goal and spoil the atmosphere - and take it from there - but hopefully Ireland can frustrate them....
