Oh hush Patrick, of course there are differences between the EDF and secondary school.

On here, there is no English master throwing blackboard rubbers at you.

No bully of a 'Makem' gym teacher to damage your ear drum with a spontaneous clout for I know not what.

No woodwork teacher/drone who will lob a mallet at your head if you're apparently not paying attention.

No formal corporal punishment, and even better the spontaneity of arbitrary physical discipline involving plimsoles, cricket bats, open hands and fists never happens. Though I've never attended an EDF drinks get together, so who knows.

Latin is usually kept to a minimum.

If there are any sexually predatory priests posting, they're keeping themselves to themselves.

If people want to smoke, they don't have to congregate in the bogs.

So you see, Patrick, no similarity to a secondary school whatsoever.

But, are you CHEWING?

Actually HB - that isn't quite true - see Christmas Carol and ED Single Men threads (of all places)!

Other than that:

No I have come onto the forum to post useless nonsense just like everyone else...

I think a psychologist would have a field day analysing the majority of people who post on here...something about their inability to form 'real' relationships...

My sense of humour manifests itself in the 'real world'...a place where the majority of people on here won't be familiar with.

Why are you reading this thread...u obviously dont need to buy a sense of humour...

The fact that ???? has checked to see how many posts I have made is also highly amusing...

Yawn. Let's round up this thread; guys and gals- GET OUT MORE.

Though Patrick Bateman's sense of humour was questionable to say the least (though I find it hard to criticise anyone with a penchant for Genesis), Brett Easton Ellis' is superlative, I trust our new friend leans toward the latter rather than the former.

I am loving the concern for our well-being, especially that we should leave our screens (they turns your eyes square you know) and abodes, I must say.

Very unpatrick like though, it almost shows a regard beyond one's own sociopathic ego.

1/10 for staying in character.

    • It's such an uneven provision, I live just west of E Dulwich towards Herne Hill/Dulwich Village and there are four Post Office counters within 10 mins walk max. They are all in local shops and provide a great service.
    • Wanted to come on and do a review for DRJ Builders as I know how hard it is to find good quality and reliable builders in the area! David O'Brien and DRJ Builders are more than that - they are an absolutely brilliant building firm who we can highly recommend. We used them to do a side return extension, loft extension and full house renovation in 2016. They did such a great job, we have just used them again to add on a new rear extension to the ground floor in 2025. David is great to work with from start to finish and has a fantastic team of tradespeople who always deliver a very high standard of work. Would highly recommend them. You can get David on 07960 938621.
    • They do have other lockers where you can drop off parcels, as well as some shops who will take them. If you use the Royal Mail app, or website, you can also arrange for collection of parcels from your house. The service is actually pretty good (and a lot easier than going to the post office). There are a lack of Royal Mail lockers though. Would be good to get some more - perhaps one on North Cross road? They don't need to be outside the Post Office necessarilly.
    • In a similar  vein, are there any charity shops actually taking donations at the moment? ( after the usual post  Christmas chucking out phase, noone would take my things last week, they had too much already).
