Looks like you had a nice nosh up and a glass or two of wine as well! But why leave that tasty looking morsel on the plate? Such a waste!

Yep... can't beat a good BBQ. It's why garden beats balcony (my other half isn't convinced... but he's french and I don't think they 'get' the appeal of a BBQ).

And Brum... the little morsels were my attempt at 'cutting back on calories' (you know, after having eaten a slab of puff pastry covered in cheese, it makes all the difference... er, honest).

I should have known. You girls think so differently to us - not that I'm complaining ;-)

I guess it's more "The view of our windows", here's a panorama of the view from Dawsons Heights, with East Dulwich in the foreground. on New Years Day .

Here's a link to a larger 3.5Mb version, it's compressed at 40% jpg to keep the file size down so the quality's not brilliant but you can still see your bedroom window. Maybe.

And you can see the Dome, Wembley stadium, the wheel, Earls Court, St Pauls etc, it really is worth going up there on a clear day.

No it's you "smugging off" with a cath kidson / Ikea copy in the background, some burnt lamb plus perky polka dots

Indeed, now it's Winter

Yes it is !

W**F

Fab photo!

And indeed we should keep it quiet tho those snobs up Primrose Hill think they have the best view of London, we know different. From Dawson Heights we can see from Battersea Power Station round to beyond Canary Wharf. And it looks right, too. They see it the wrong way round!

Looking forward to seeing more photos on this thread when the snow settles of the views from your windows even if it;'s snow settled on a squirrel or something.

Well worth viewing in a proper Panorama Viewer (I've tested this with Mark's large image and the one below - both work fine).

Here's a panorama looking back towards Dawsons Heights from north of the river (click for large version).

    • Happy to recommend Leon. He supplied and fitted a new bathroom extractor for me. Very quick to quote, fair price, scheduled the work quickly, good communications regarding arrival time on the day, did the job efficiently, and was pleasant to deal with throughout.
    • It's been suggested that he may be on drugs because some like ecstasy makes one thirsty. Was that why he stole the bottle of water? But what is strange is that he went in via the front door and reached in towards the rear. He then tilted the rear seat backrests forward so that he could reach right into the back. He did this rather than open a rear or the rear hatch. Go figure! It's my wife's car and she says she always, I RPT,  always locks it. Incidentally, our neighbour no longer locks his car because he has had a side window smashed twice now because of thieves breaking in.
