Me at 31 Jah...got fed up marking 18 year olds when I'd been up all night! But miss it - played in some great locations with the Greenwich & Lewisham League Peyps estate!!!, Belvedere!!!!...our home games were at Blackheath normally and I still go all misty eyed driving past the pitches on the A2

I have a mate who's 51 and he's still pretty nifty on the ball down the park every week - reckon you fellas should give it a go - a veterans league perhaps. Then we ladies can come and enjoy the view.

Veterans league=blokes who could and can really play in my experience...Quids=bloke who could just about hold his own in Sunday football lower divisions in the 1980s

It would take me an age to get fit enough to play now and I'd probably have a heart attack just trying. I'll stick to watching rather than embarrass myself trying to do the things that came easy when I was younger.

Ooh yes, good call. I put a vest on today. It made me feel terribly sensible and not at all like my teenage self who slept a Feburary night in a draughty Manchester train station dressed in hotpants and t-shirt just so my mum wouldn't know I'd been clubbing.
