I have not read the PM yet but you seem to be saying that I have knowingly tarred a company as naughty even though they have helped community projects, which is incorrect. Which company are you talking about?

Hi Admin in the PM I have stated who the company are, not publicly on the forum. I have not said you tarred the company. However if you read the pm you will see what I am trying to ask. From the impression in the answers I have received re my posts and why I am having difficulties posting, it seems, and correct me If I am wrong, that certain words I post are not recognised, because they have been deemed as naughty.I am confused, that is why I have pmd you.

I am cross because of the nature of my posts ie talking about community projects, cannot be projected in the posts, because of "naughty words"

Hello. Have emailed Admin a couple of times to ask for a change to my username, having finally understood the potential issues around using my real name online. But no response. Is there anything else I can do, e.g. closing my account and reopening one with a different name? I can't see how to do this.

Just create a new account and log in with the new account rather than the old one. If you need a new email address set yourself up a one-time address with Yahoo.

Your old username will drop below the fold (i.e. out of sight) in no time at all.

Yes, changing usernames is a pain to do from the administration side of things so not something we encourage. And apologies for the delay in responding, I don't get much time for it these days so am running up a big backlog.

I have just contacted someone about something for sale on the family classifieds via PM and when i went back to see the original post, it had gone? Then I look for other o=posts from that user and they all seem to have disappeared...

Can you tell why?

I did send a message to Dave as the company we run is All Aspects Plumbing and i live in Rodwell Road off Crystal Palace road.

The difficulty being, that when people try to recommemnd us, they say there posts never appear, now I'm quite happy to send paper work with address details etc but where would this be too.

Could you let me know, where we go from here please.

Problem logging on to EDF.

On computer today I did a disk clean up using standard PC facility.

now I cannot seem to log on, I go through the procedure and screen just goes back to how it was before I entered login details. Weird. No error msg. No confirmation msg.

I want to post some items for sale but can't until this is resolved.

From iPhone I am logged on (daren't log off now though in case I lose access completely), hence I'm writing this.

So, it seems like something up with my connection via PC.

Any suggestions !?

I am non-tech BTW.

Very curious. You can log in to other sites ok? Can't think of anything forum specific which would cause this. The fact that you used some clean up software is what makes me wary and suspicious it's Pc specific

I suspect if you logged out of phone and logged in you would be fine
