Nothing crafty about that at all. Any publican worth his salt should get tasty bar staff behind the jump. Puts bums on seats and sells drinks.

I went to The Florence for a crafty one on Wednesday and their barmaids are all stunners in there too! Thats coming from an exceedingly straight lady!!::o

used to be Gangleys, or something like that. I think I prefer it to the Bishop (but have only been there once, when I arrived around midnight and in no fit state to make judgements like this).

Oh! I know, it's Scot from the Bishop's new enterprise. Used to be the Brockwell Park Tavern before it was Gangly's. Haven't been in there yet, will try it out sometime soon.

The ones playing 'best of musicals' compilations and seventies disco at full volume can be found at Hoopers on a tuesday night.

I was driven out in the end and I'm a big supporter of said pub.

The CPT had this really fit barman until about 2 weeks ago. Never got anymore women in the place, though ;-)

To be honest it wasn't the music itself (though in the end I did ask him to put something a bit less relentlessly upbeat on, to which he put on some communards, hmmm, i was more thinking Miles Davis but there you go) it was more the fact that we were the only 3 customers and we couldn't hear each other talk.

Being a bit of a local barfly myself. I can tell you that they are pretty thin on the ground.

I have been informed there is one in the Cadleigh Arms on Lyndhurst Way, which I know is strictly speaking not ED, but worth the walk nonetheless.
