I like his take on art...

But don't think the ED collection is quite his style.

I'm glad this is providing everyone with a bit of harmless amusement. As someone who live very near,at the moment there are about 20 bottles and it's making me feel sick. Try laughing when they leave it on your doorstep and your children find it

Very sorry to hear that, how awful!! :-(

If they're leaving it on your doorstep I think it's a matter for the police

If it's upsetting you that much, you could call the police or Southwark's Environment team on 020 7525 2000. Maybe you could warn your children not to go near them. And why worry whether or not others find it harmless amusement?

Thanks for the sympathy, but the thought of contacting the local police did provide me with a bit of harmless amusement

I did contact the local Police.
They said this type of occurence is unpleasant, not unknown to them, and is typically from someone living in a van and they are looking for the likely van, etc.

When will people realize someone out there is seeking attention and is getting it here on this Forum.

(Probably think they are some kind of Banksy)

I Guarantee that someone is enjoying this attention by reading these comments and that if people
stop posting or the thread is Closed/Deleted.. the problem will stop.

Probably not if they are a cab driver who spends his time pissing in his car!

Average person pees 1.5 - 2 litres in 24 hr period..
depends on how much fluid intake.

Driver is not going to spend 24 hours in his cab.. Probably 8 hours.

Assuming he stops for a sandwich (cafe)? he will have toilet facilities.

And will spend the rest of his time at home..

cannot possible fill the amout of bottles being left out..

The postman said that he must sleep in his car!
Im no expert on how much a person urinates nor do I want to be.
Just object to it being left on my doorstep!

...but the bottles had been appearing there long before this thread started. So your theory is unlikely to be right.

What ??

People would not of been posting before the bottles were appearing.. would they. ??

They started posting in responce to the bottles appearing..

Fox; the mystery bottle-leaver was leaving the bottles for a long time before any thread appeared. You claim that they are purely doing it because of the attention they get on the forum. But since they were happily doing it without any attention on the forum, it seems unlikely they would stop if the forum stopped discussing it.

Nicholas...

So..
.... Why doesn't the person just pou it down the drain... ?

.... Why do they wait till they have 5-6 bottles... ?

.... Why do they arrange them in neat little rows in prominent locations... ?

Fox.

I have absolutely no idea. But they were doing it long before this forum discussed it - so were clearly not motivated by coverage on the forum.

Perhaps it's more than one person? A pee crime syndicate.

I am intrigued by the idea that somebody who's day to day job involves peeing into used drink bottles & then abandoning them at the roadside, is so switched on in media manipulation that he/she is mounting a campaign for attention.

Making practical use of opposable thumbs & ending the day without wet trousers would seem to be a more likely goal.

When this thread started I had never noticed the bottles of orange liquid. I spotted my first one today in Melbourne Grove.
