"Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Crystal Palace (Greater London, England) mast? "Crystal Palace transmitter - Crystal Palace transmitter: Possible effect on TV reception week commencing 12/05/2025 Pixelation or flickering on some or all channels" says https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Crystal_Palace. In which case I don't see any point in rescanning (not that it'll do any harm). I've not noticed any signal degradation at all, TV or BBC radio, so it sounds as if it's probably intermittent. Ah - I did notice a couple of brief R4 breaks yesterday, and assumed they were studio glitches. I don't think either lasted more than a minute. -
Just wanted to recommend Core on Upland Road for great treatments. I had the best massage I've had for a long time there in a long time yesterday afternoon. Lovely people and environment. -
Unfortunately I spoke too soon. TW said they had finished. Then sent another communication shortly afterwards saying they hadn't. They are now saying they will get the water back to normal "as quickly as possible". Not their finest hour. Sorry for the misinformation.
