I went retro last night and spent a couple of hours playing one of the R-Type games. Forgot how bloody hard they were, so annoying that you lose all your weapons everytime you die! Still very fun.

I think it is simply an address book, so you can tick loads of people on your list and send them all a joint PM without having to mess around. That is what I use it for anyway.

Gazza's flute celebration in an Old Firm derby was the worst one, as it had real dangerous undertones. Very foolish. Robbie Fowler's line snorting was at least funny. If you're going to do it, make it witty.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Neville or Rooney ran the length of the pitch in order to goad the fans. You'd think he'd have had time during the run to think about what he was about to do. The more I think about it, the more I want to see more of this sort of thing. At the end of the day, footballers are paid silly money, and exploit the fans, they may as well really rub it in their faces.

Adebayor was a knob, but he obviously feels he has been somehow wronged by Arsenal. Clearly making his career, and paying him thousands of pounds a week, was mis treatment. That said, the fans who would ju themselves get wound up by that sort of shit, are simpletons.

Panesar and Harmison both lose central contracts altogether, which seems a bit harsh, when Flintoff, who is basically finished, still gets an incrimental contract.
