  1. I may start a Lordship Lane 1978 thread, to see what was there when I was born. Only thing I clearly remember, was the Tescos on the corner of Northcross, which sold on to 7-11.
  2. As Jeremy says, what about pubs? Plough must have been, Mag, Lord Palmerston, East Dulwich Tavern, all could have been, not sure about the foresters, that looked more modern. Can anyone confirm?

  4. Klinsman was not above a bit of diving action either. It is uncanny how much those puppets are like the Liverpool owners!
  5. Noooo, that was so easy, why did you have to give it away!

  7. On a Friday & Saturday night.
  8. Nope. It's more T outside TB.
  9. Hurrah!!!! something beginning with T.
  10. Lights (from Foxtons)
  11. Robbis Savage *spits* went down rather easily. (on blokes probably, the c**t!!!!)
  12. Original things that could have been done rather than nicking Quids' trademark?
  13. My mum always went to Dave's on LL, and we always had good meat for dinner.
  14. That may have come across a bit wrong. I'm NOT saying people with GCSEs are unemployable, it was just a response to; As I'm not really sure that that paints a particularly broad picture, any more than Steve's somewhat sweeping statement did.
  15. Well I've worked with people with GCSEs in an office, who probably would struggle elsewhere.
  16. Which is a shame, as you make a point more reasonably than most!
  17. I'd go along with that. I, for example, am not quite as lovely in real life as I am on here. Nearly, but not quite.
  18. Timster, I'm on the same side as you in this, but I think we have to admit that there are people who do take the absolute p!ss. It's because of these people that everyone else gets tarred with thirs brush, but we can't go claiming that there are no bad apples, because frankly, there are.

Some things are definitely better, but there are places and people I'd happily do without.
  20. Think that is a touch harsh regarding all the butchers.
  21. I rather fancy this, but am not sure yet.
  22. Besides, I suspect Anna knows all she needs to about physiology to be honest.
