  1. Agree with both Anna and Ruffers, Torres got no service earlier this season, but still, he didn't exactly look for it. Anyway, gutted to hear about the transfer request, thought he was turning in to Liverpool through and through, but guess he just fancies a few thousand quid a week more.
  2. Anna, hopefully the owners realise that selling him for any amount right now would be the worst possible move they could make with the fans, especially before they splash some cash on anyone else.
  3. I'll be impressed if he stays with spurs by next season, but I'll bet he goes somewhere.
  4. But how will people know they're getting Waitrose goods if it has a different name?
  5. I assume it was either tongue in cheek, or it was sarcastic towards womanofdulwich. To be fair to WOD, she didn't seem to be suggesting that you were a bad parent if you didn't have your child facing you, but rather that it makes your life easier in some ways. Chill people! I love the family room, everyone gets on, but everyone is ready to get all defensive if they feel their personal parenting techniques are being questioned. Bring it on! :)-D
  6. Karter, didn have it at womad, but have had it off road before. It's a bit big on buses, that is my only real issue with it. It is sturdy enough to hang bag over the back. As I say, it's only real downfall is that it's not particularly compact, even when folded.
  7. Ha ha, only just read Sean's link. Like it,
  8. Doesn't the electrical side just involve plugging it in? ;-)
  9. I'd agree that a good sling will be the best money you could spend. If you go for mclaren xlr, I think there is a sling you can buy with it, but never seen one.
  10. My wife, is very very pro parent facing pushchairs, and our 20 month old never shuts up, so maybe there is something in it. We have one of these, which we've been really happy with, but I think it might be a bit big for your needs.
  11. So, did we find out if Liverpool are being shown at the vale, or anywhere else this evening? Didn't CPT show a match the other day that wasn't meant to be on? Thought someone on here mentioned it.
  12. Not all of the places Sean mentions, do food.

Doesn't Dulwichmum have a link to her blog in the signature of her posts? She definitely used to, in which case, why don't you do that? Sorry if DM no longer does for some reason. I removed link to bands website from my sig, which is totally fair enough, as we were doing a cheeky bit of free advertising, and a couple of people moaned to admin about it. However, with a personal blog, I can't see the issue.
  14. On Barry Road, just past the Uplands Road junction.
  15. The cpt used to have this horrid yet huge painting of a pink flower, as viewed from above. Always put me off my pint.
  16. Regarding the Blackpool penalty shout, I didn't see it, but I predict that Emerson will agree with you, then sandperson will say "yawn", then everyone will say "same old shit on this thread"...
  17. Cool. Much as I like the idea of a quality young striker going to Liverpool, I doubt they'd get any first team action. Perhaps they'll go to West Ham be score a bundle, that would be good.
  18. 3 of us went to Venezuela last year for about that.
  19. Heard a couple of similar stories on Radio 4 the other day, and it is heart warming. Have a couple of friends who have had to leave their first house together, about a month after moving in, they were still getting drunk for Australia day though!
  20. Yep, BBC have the story. I've never liked Andy Gray, but to be fair, this seems a bit overly harsh, a total sacking. Richard Keys seemed the worse of the 2 on that recording anyway.
  21. It's 8pm kick off, won't it be on everywhere?

  24. Bugger, forgot all about it last night. Is it repeated on telly? (hate watching things on the internet)
  25. That image has made me feel a bit ill. Narnia, I agree there are plenty of blokes who know nothing about the game, or not as much as they think they do. However, I just liked the idea of getting 2 completely stereotypical Katie Price like girls to do it. Probably more entertaining than listening to Andy Gray!
