  1. I thought not quids. Just yesterday someone was saying that they were born in the sound of the bells (at St Thomas'), and IO thought it couldn't be right. Personally I am relieved, as our offspring is due to be born at Tommy's, and I don't want some little cockney thug embarrassing me when I'm trying to enjoy a beer in East Dulwich!
  2. I rather like the Ting Tings, but agree with the other 2 (although Kaiser Chiefs have done a couple of really good tracks).
  3. Good work David. I was chatting to another local shef U fan yesterday, and he was not impressed!

I am shocked you've not been in here before. It was top drawer though!
  5. Is being born in St Thomas' within the sound of bow bells?
  6. Well that is good, being that you're really not that old!
  7. My first registered sort was 27 November 2006. No wonder I have so much paperwork to catch up on!
  8. Mine was when you didn't have to be registered, so not sure what it was, but pretty sure it involved pubs.
  9. Okay, like them or not, can we please not compare the Beatles to Mozart! He was absolute genius, they were decent song writers from Liverpool!
  10. Think I'm basically me. Sean, I like you loads more in the real world! ;-)
  11. Big respect to Angela for being such a great host! I spent a lot of the evening sat with some non forum friends, so sorry I wasn't hugely social. Still was a nice evening.
  12. May pop in at some stage, won't be there for the whole night though I'm afraid.
  13. I'm with Moos, Somerfield is a huge chain, doubt they're just cashing in on the folks of ED.

Lovin' your work darling. Sorry, I mean sis ;-)
  15. I'm just not sure who quids is talking about. He seems to be on the compassionate side, which is cool, but the people who have been more anti Jade are not the ones that I'd call the more obviously middle class on here... Not that I believe in class you understand. Can we not all agree that it is very sad that a person is dying very young of a horrid illness and leaving her kids without a mum, BUT, in the grand scheme of things, there are plenty of things in the world, be it a war, or your neighbour's cat dying, that people may be more upset about. That's how I see it anyway. I don't know her, and whilst I think it's very sad, I'll not lay awake thinking on it, but I'm sure those close to her are devastated.
  16. Agree about Beckham, have always been a big fan. Wouldn't say he has everything, as George Best said, he can't head, he can't tackle and he has no pace. However, he has plenty to make up for his short comings.
  17. Fowler at his best was as good as any striker. Unfortunately injuries really ruined his career, but he was great! I think to call Giggs just a winger is very harsh on the guy!
  18. Good point Tony, she's only famous because the public can't get enough of the whole fame thing.
  19. As a player I'd put Gerrard above most of those guys, but agree with Lard's point. I'd say Giggs is the premiership's greatest all time player for several reasons.
  20. Never was more sense typed on this forum!
  21. On last nights evidence it's pretty huge! That said, there have been games in the past (particularly big eurpean games) where I have thought we'd be in trouble without him, and we've come through it really well!
  22. At least there was a very warm and welcoming beaver! Okay, I've just gone too far haven't I :-$
  23. You met him too? Did you think he was a bit like Jesus?
  24. Couldn't agree more! Just thought I'd stick up for Atila, as suddenly this word "compassion" popped up, and took a completely different direction from anything he said. Compassion is abstract, and not something that can be measured in the same way as the amount we help and support someone.
