    wikileaks

Louisiana, I've never said I disagree with wikileaks as such. I have in fact said that I am generally all for transparency, with some exceptions. It's just a few people who have been shouting about this (I didn't actually mean on this forum, although one or two perhaps) remind me of mental conspiracy theorists.

Problem with that Brendan, as that the integrity and accountability with which you lead your life, are probably not identical to those of your neighbours.

Brendan, why is there so much wrong with what I said? Do you really think that everyone should have total access to every decision made by those in power? I'm sorry, but I can't agree with that. And Piers, you're sadly right. There is a large part of the british public who probably are more worried about xfactor, than what goes on outside of their bubbles, and that is why politicians with substance will now lose every time to the politicians with the media friendly smile.

    Crap education.

Sorry, but why the fuck did this talented girl end up going to waverley?

I also cant help thinking that the people who are most up in arms about this, are the same people who are convinced 9/11 was a big American plot, and Diana was killed by the royal family.

The timing of this arrest warrent hq a total joke, and it stinks to high heaven. I do however think that this bloke is a monumental cock. Totally agree that transparency is important in many things, but anyone who thinks Joe public should know EVERYTHING that is going on, is a bit of an idiot quite frankly.

    Silverfox is spot on.
  8. I understand what cate is saying, just don't think it was put very well. Lets be onest though, we don't have kids in order to provide the workers of the future. A friend of mine just had a second kid, specifically to provide a sibling for his son. Whilst I understand this, I don't think that that alone is good enough to bring a new life in to the world.
  9. Hey, I did spend one of the 3 days I was at home, doing some work!
  10. Ha, that sounds like my daughter, the little thug.
  11. Hello, having been very scared about facing the mums of dulwich, my old mum of dulwich took the plunge today, and took my daughter to the tippy toes thing at the ceramics cafe. She said it was really good fun, and the room is small enough that she won't lose sight of the little one. Anyone on here go to that group?
  12. Knowing what I know now, I'd like to have retired Paul in about 1980!

  14. Having spent a lot of hours last week producing some reports that included colour photographs, I have been told by my manager that they are very good, but that I'd best take the images out, as printing them would cost too much. WTF! By the way, we're talking about a 4 page documebnt, and ONE copy, not 500 copies of a 50 page book. Just wondered if anyone else was having similar experiences, now that we're tightening our belts.
  15. See, I think that is lovely. When I was at secondary, we had a music teacher who went way beyond the call of duty to help me and others. Sometimes there are just special teachers.
  16. They just said on the radio that heavy rain is expected during the last day. Will be a bit of a bloody blow if England don't go on to win this test.

Sean at his best! Bless you man ;-)
  18. Super trouper.
  19. Coldplay. They're not old, but I'd love it if they stopped!
  20. Relatively speaking, it's an ant.

    X Factor

I thought 2 went this week, and I'd say Mary and Cher.

    X Factor

That Amazing Grace has finally shown what Rebecca can do, although the first verse should have had less flurrys. Matt's first song was great, second one, not so much.
  23. Good work? :)
  24. I'm the opposite, I'd chose DS9 over Voyager. (plus Jadzia Dax was fit!) Never saw any of Enterprise. Next Gen had some great great stories, and some not so great. Q was always fun, and episodes with him in them were generally good. The final episode "All good things" was a great ending too (well, sort of ending, unless you count the films, which with the exception of "First Contact" were not great).
  25. My wife works Thursdays unfortunately, but keep us posted.
