  1. Booze is a depressant, and definitely not a long term solution to the blues, but it can be a great way to put it off for a night. In the long run though, it just causes you to be more miserable.
  2. Euro '96 does bring back great memories, and I think it would be nice to have it here. Hopefully by then, we'll have a team that I want to cheer again, as I've lost interest in England, which saddens me. It's not because they're rubbish, I can live with that, so long as they go down fighting. It's the fact that they are a very very unlikable bunch of tossers who don't give two hoots about the 3 lions!
  3. Keef = :-S Keef's forcast for 5pm = :)-D
  4. Booze and loud guitars!
  5. It could also be that ED as it is now, was born around 2000, and developed in to a place for young families. So the kids are only now getting to the 11 / 12 mark. I also just think that a lot of people realise they can get more for their money elsewhere, and as kids get older, they want more space, so move a little way away.
  6. Christ, it would be like a post nuclear society trying to rebuild!

    Misfits - E4

Really enjoying this second series, last night was quality.
  9. Hussey done well, but not looking too bad. Very important first session tonight. A coule of wickets, and game on...
  10. I was very put out that having watched "Have I got news for you" like a good boy, you then went on until gone 11, with no viewing instructions. I had no idea what to watch, and had to actually think for myself!
  11. Not very English of me, I'll grant you.
  12. Could be worse guys, lets see how our bowlers get on on day 2. That is supposedly where our great strength lies...
  13. Fair point, I shouldn't be so blase about it, as I'm crap at talking to strangers!
  14. Just a suggestion here, so don't bite my head off. This thread shows that basically everyone feels the same, so why not forget badges, and just try talking to anyone, as they will probably end up being grateful. You could have an "opt out" badge if you're a miserable person.
  15. How much does the group cost? It sounds perfect, my mum would love to bring my daughter to something music related, if it does start again on a Monday...

  17. This could be an old one, but I only saw it recently. Darth Vader recording voice for Tom Tom
  18. Just for the record, I was only having a joke. PS. Jaffa Cakes, it has to be jaffa cakes! (especially the ones Lidls sell, they are awesome!
  19. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd take a 6 month old on any rides, even the small ones are for toddlers.
  20. Very true, although he did take things a bit personally on occasion! ;-)
  21. If someone has no badge, will they be ignored, and forced to eat the sainsbury's basics digestives?

I always thought they were allowed to have their own opinions, so long as it didn't effect their moderation. And unless someone has been deleting or editing your posts because they disagree with you, I can't see how their moderation has been biased.

  25. I can totally understand why people want the vid monitor, having been the type of dad that would stand by the cot for ages making sure baby was still alive. However, I can't help thinking that we are moving towards hooking babies up to full on life support monitors in the not too distant future!
