  1. I feel gutted for Hargreaves. Club stuff aside, I've always liked him as a player.
  2. Anna, Pickle very kindly gave me a TV once, so I know where she lives. I'll share this info for a price! >:D
  3. Hurrah Family Moos!
  4. There is nout good on telly.
  5. Very true, but I'm not sure any of it is actually in SE22.
  6. I won't bother thanks, I'm bored of it ;-)
  7. :-P
  8. I quite agree, but I wouldn't have thought that all the bad decisions went against Celtic. That is what I was agreeing with, you're coming across as a bit paranoid.
  9. James, there was a Chelsea supperter on here, who still posts on the forum (Lozzyloz), but think he decided to give this thread a miss because he was on his own. Think you should wade in, we need some fresh blood. It's all Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and City on here, with a little bit of Millwall, Leeds, and Celtic thrown in.
  10. Half Moon was oe of my exceptions. And the Amersham Arms of old, but I think it's all gone a bit DJ student nights these days. I played the Clapham Grand a couple of times, and it was a wicked venue for the band, with a great rig, but it just didn't draw the crowds until later in the night when the DJ put on the cheesy old classics. Shame.
  11. I'm not sure it was satire, I think it was a bit past the line. However, the rest of the post was spot on.
  12. Best of luck to you, South East London is absolutely shite for live music, always has been (with a few exceptions).
  13. Shut up Sean. Anyway, Quids has the right of it. Lordship Lane is East Dulwich. Other than that, it's just a colection of houses (and the CPT).
  14. Corner of Underhill / Crystal Palace Road.
  15. Well at least they had good taste in films if nothing else.
  16. That is anecdotal at best! How can you say something is "absolutely not true", based on the opinions of a few people that you know? I also know lots of public sector workers, and I don't think most of them thought "Hmm, I think I'll go and do a degree in social work / occupational therapy / nursing because when I finish, I'll get a good pension, and the union will look after me". Yes, once you start, it is nice to feel that your job is relatively secure (I miss that feeling since I left my last permanent job), I won't deny that. But to say that, that is why "MOST" people get in to it, is doing them a disservice.
  17. I blame myself, because I'm too much of a lefty lib softy to blame anyone else.
  18. Round of applause to that woman! (you are a bird aren't you?)
  19. I was only teasing Mick, take a chill pill.
  20. I am generally a fan of Huguenot, and he makes lots of very good points, backed up with good evidence. However, he has a terrible habit of devaluing all of this good work, by stating his own opinion as absolute fact, and misrepresenting what other people have said. It is poor form, and beneath the man.
  21. Maybe Celtic should just get over it, and start playing better, so they don't have to rely on refs decisions. *runs away sniggering*
  22. Once again I point to this You can't have it both ways, and your tone on this thread is incredible!
  23. Greenwich have pulled out due to cuts, which doesn't surprise me actually, as Greenwich are not the wealthiest council. Lewisham are asking people to make donations towards it.
