  1. At least kids have the excuse of being kids. My little girl was elbowed out of the way at Hornimans by a woman who wanted her kid to be at the front. Quite honestly, I felt like punching her! (but I didn't)

I think you may be crediting this particular group with more brains than they actually have.

    X Factor

Missed this week. Did anyone do Tiny Dancer? Not really an Elton fan, but love that song.
  4. Think he would have been wise to keep it quiet, but he's not broken any rules. As for the fight, it was no surprise, but I was surprised how scared Audley looked, and thought he'd at least have a go.
  5. Agree with louisiana. I do think that berryberry should have read the original post a bit more closely though.
  6. I'll probably be sitting at the bar in the lounge, watching the big screen. Red top on.
  7. I'll hope to get to the next one too. Swdgewick, have you hadenuff?
  8. Same here.
  9. Shame I had to leave early (needed to secure my pass for the boxing tonight), but good to see those of you that I saw, especially a happy PGC!
  10. Nice CXC, cheers, You've called me dunce, and flipped me the bird. You clearly are, but how can you be prtective of all students? Surely university students represent a very wide cross section of society, with different ideas, and ideologies. In which case, you must disagree with some of them. I basically agree with the sentiment behind this march. I disagree with some of them smashing stuff up.
  11. It's a shame really, as he's kept his nose clean for a while, and has been playing some great football, but he just has some lose wires somewhere, and can't control himself.
  12. No, Music & Psychology would have been a perfect course had I stuck with my original plan to do music therapy, but by the time I was 21, I had different ideas to when I was 17. I guess you could argue that I bring the joy of music to people by playing in a band, but some might say that their idea of joy is some distance from my guitar playing.
  13. I don't think you were CC, but we'll leave it there. http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu161/andyfitzpat/peace-sign-1.gif
  14. Chill out CC, I was only joking. The fact the sign clearly says "socialist workers " at the top, kind of gave away that it might have been one of theirs. I'm not having a go at university students at all, I was one once, doing an arts degree (which admittedly hasn't been of much use to anyone, including me).
  15. Perhaps not cuddly, but I just imagine him walking in to a fight and saying "come on guys, okay, maybe he shagged your sister, but, well, you know... Oh, and could you move the fight over there by the pool table, because it really doesn't belong in this part of the bar, and two other guys already had a very similar fight last week, and the rest of us are getting a bit bored of it. Okay?" Aaaaanyway, back on topic! Sorry Sean :))
  16. "F**K FEES. FREE EDUCATION NOW". It would appear this person never attended secondary, let alone uni! If you're going to hold up a sign, at least make it witty! I admit that he did talk over her a bit, but she was also guilty of trying to shout the others down with her cliched rubbish.
  17. It was quite nice to see you spitting feathers for a change Sean. But yeah, as someone who has let a bad mood get the better of him on here, and typed some silly things*, I know what you're saying. * Although I didn't reread it, decide it was spot on, and reinforce it in another post ;-)
  18. I'm with Sean on this.
  19. If I'm not there for half 6, I won't be there...
  20. Primrose Hill is pretty impressive.
  21. I may get there for half 6, but won't be there for the long haul.
  22. She's just someone who has no idea. Just an ideology, and too many Bob Dylan records. She seems to think that anyone who remotely disagrees with her is a facist, but I suspect she doesn't really know what a facist is. I thought the Aaron Porter, president of the NUS did quite well on Newsnight though.
  23. Quite funny hearing Cameron praising the police. Of course, he mentioned that there weren't enough of them... Best get used to that Dave!
  24. Website
  25. Clare Solomon. What a muppet.
