The plane thing is difficult... Myself and Mrs Keef are pretty green (mainly down to Mrs Keef I must admit), and I would rather use alternitive methods for travel around europe. However, I have to admit the speed and ease of which you can get from London to any number of places does make it hard to be strong.... I do think flying to France is pretty inexcusable!!!! :-S

I did the DipHE with Guidedogs for the blind.... Similar to the RNIB course in Birmingham, but a lot more mobility! There were only another few classes after mine, and guidedogs decided to close the school. You seem to know a bit about it, are you in the field? -
I'd really like to try golf one day! Never played it, but now I've realised the potential of a game that involves a nice stroll ending up in a bar!!! :)-D

We're staying in an old smuggler's inn, quite pricey, but looks lovely.... I declined the 4 poster rooms though, think they're a bit creepy :-S Sounds just the ticket for a nice quiet relaxing weekend though, which is what we both need!

As THIS LINK shows, there are all sorts of tactile paving, and there is no standard for Visually Impaired people. I know this because I am a mobility instructor with visually impaired people. Haven't seen the paving you're talking about though, so can't comment :-S -
Was very nice (despite my hangover). It was part of the Dulwich Festival whicxh was very well advertised I thought, and I don't even live in ED ;-)

Not going anywhere on a plane, but taking Mrs Keef for a couple if nights in Rye the weekend after next. Has anyone been there? Told it's lovely, but never been myself...

RE the bags, I think it's such a good idea to try and get local kids involved... RE Only chav in ED.... I was trying to stick up for you a bit, but you're really not doing yourself any favours.... Do you have any friends?

Ideal is great!!! 3rd series just finished, hope there will be a 4th..... It's the only programme I'd actually think "I won't go out tonight cos that's on" about. Liked Life on Mars.

Radio 4 in the Keef household, sometimes 5live, but mainly for the footy. XFM for music, but shows I have been gone a while, as didn't realise Lauren had left :-S Maybe she killed her self after her disasterous hosting of the NME awards this year!!!!

Well I know you not to be a tw@t, and I also agree that the post wasn't exactly the best dripst post. I would also like to point out that no one person is the only chav in ED by any stretch of the imagination. However, I do feel that there is a top order on this forum sometimes, and that if people don't subscribe to the accepted opinion, they can be quickly shouted down.

As well as the keyhole thing, I can make one eye stay still and the other one move :)) Also, my shoulders sort of pop out of socket when a raise my arms, a fact I discovered painfully when putting my hand up to answer a teacher's question at school. Am I a bit of a freak? :-S

Now that is a good idea! I was joking about the friendly forumites, it's not a bad bunch on here.... Do feel that Only Chav In ED's post was shot down a bit, especially considering s/he probably hasn't had the time or inclination to read through every thread on here... Come to think of it, I wonder how long that would take.... :-S
