There's a post about the bags HERE and asked people to come along and help make the place greener... I take my hat off to you for the thought, but again, it seems like anyone trying to take responsibility for the environment, and doing their bit, is just ripped off for their trouble! God, since being with Mrs Keef I'm very surprised at the things I'm becoming passionate about..... That could actually sound very wrong! :-S

Lets hope it doesn't end up like the Pheonix!!!! On the coke in the loo thing.... The manager of the CPT was telling me that they'd sprayed all the surfaces to stop this happening, so some w@nker smashed a tile off the wall for his line!!!!!!! They now spray the walls too ;-) NOTE: The CPT isn't a druggy pub, as as *bob* says, it happens all over.

We've all been there Sean, spotting someone (who normally you'd love to chat away to) at the bus stop / on the bus, and just hoping to God they don't notice you, so you can suffer the misery alone!!!! ;-)

Speaking of "cults" (not that scientology is a cult.... :-S ), did anyone see that Louis Theroux programme a couple of months ago about "the most hated family in America"? Now that was worrying, and very very sad, as there were a lot of teenagers and little kids who just had no chance of ever living a normal life, even though they seemed desperate to in a lot of ways! Sorry, slightly off the subject.

The Dog is still quite pub like, and (although I'm not a big fan), The Palmerston has kept a lot of it's original look.... The Plough, the Bishop, and The Magdalla are unrecognisable from the pubs they used to be. BarryRoad is right, the CPT "Lounge Bar" side is nice... They reupholstered the seats a few months back, so it's comfortable, and there is a nice fire. Tom, believe me, there are local tw@ts doing coke in the toilets of even the most trendy of bars, not just The Plough!

You see F1 in quite a few pubs...... Personally, it's a sport I used to love, but these days it's dull as dish water!... Though this season is actually looking up a bit from what I can tell.

And she likes to abuse the poor ref! ;-)

Theres a lou of pressure on anyone recommending there! If I remember rightly, the lady who wrote A short history of tractors in the Ukraine (great book, but her name escapes me) has released a second book, so if you liked that, it could be am option... Will look in to it and post more details.
