    :P

There used to be several copies of Razzle scattered around The Quiet Room... I think you should tell your mate to p!ss off and get his own porn.
  2. Poor old G&B, what more can they do. I've said before, it's not really my kind of place, but it strikes me that they try harder to please their customers than most places, and yet they get more bad press (for not a lot) than anywhere!
  3. Ah the Telegraph Hill festival... Memories. I played at that with a band I was in when I was about 15... We rocked ;-)
  4. I suspect that those figures would look quite different now, 6 years on... Could be wrong :-S
  5. Are you a manc? ;-)
  6. Also, it would have been easy for me to follow in my dad's London Arsenal theme, even though I wasn't really interested at a young age, and they were winning loads back then.
  7. Lived there for years actually, and went to Anfield often... Plus, I got in to football relatively later in life, and when I decided on Liverpool, they'd not won anything in ages, and I waited ages for them to win anything else... Take it you're at the Hamlet every week then? ;-)
  8. That large, and very heavy TV used to be mine... Believe me, if you londy the staircase they had to negotiate with it, you'd put them in top spot! ;-)

    Quiet room...

*Whispers to Bagpuss that I will indeed be in the pub, but am considering a bit of a crawl down the Lane... Will let bagpuss know....* :)-D

    Quiet room...

*Passes Bagpuss beer with straw, and cigarette* *Declines offered return of cigarette for fear of catching lurgy* *Clinks glasses and drinks deeply..... Not long now.....*
  11. Not a big Saints fan then? ;-)
  12. Not sure the illuminated signs are good.... I'm thinking Neon pink!!!!! :-S
  13. I can hold my drink well :)-D
  14. Also worth adding people to your buddy list if you're likely to PM them regularly, as it saves you looking for one of their posts to get to a PM. >:D< Anyway, good luck with it all! *Legs it*

    Quiet room...

*Comes zooming in to room on water slide (that was fitted when no one was looking)* *Spins around on spot like a LoonyToons Tazmanian Devil, and is instantly dry* *Pours cold Grolsch, clinks glass with Mockney's bottle and takes a big gulp*
  16. That was exactly the question I had! I suspect they'll allow it.... If not, I'm going to stand just over the border and make a point of blowing smoke on to their garden area (6)
  17. Naughty ;-)
  18. Not the same since old Screaming Lord Sutch died :'(
  19. I agree with Sean, in that there is room for chains and indies..... And I personally like to see both. Indies give you nice stuff you can't get everywhere, chains give you the everyday stuff you need at cheaper prices.... Aaanyway, not really the topic but there you go.
  20. They're like the Red Hand Gang, but with Crocs ;-)
  21. Should be a good day.... beer, sun, talk nonsense, more beer, sunstroke........ hangover..... er.... :-S Might bring my guitar and sit by a tree like Dylan from Magic Roundabout.... B)
  22. No, Co-Op was where the Woolwich is if I remember rightly..... Will have to ask the old dear this weekend :-S I think you had the co-op chemist and funeral parlour where they are, an off license (that my dad used to manage), and then the supermarket bit..... Sure tescos were on the corner though.... I mean 7-11 took over when I was in primary school (we were very excited about the slurpies), so we're talking mid 80's maybe???
  23. Sorry to disgrace myself, but I'd be happy enough with a tescos... There used to be one on LL where the 7-11 / Budgesns is (corner of Northcross).
  24. For the record, I'm not having a go at G&B specifically either, and chances are it was just a waitress that didn't know..... I would however want to speak to the manager if I were in that situation... (In ANY place before the G&B gang stress out).
  25. Thing is, we're not talking about someone going in, taking up a seat and just drinking a glass of tap water whilst reading the paper, we're talking about someone paying for food and wine, and wanting something to clear the palette out with.
