  1. It's a good photo in terms of clarity and stuff, but I think I look really fat! God I sound like a girl ;-)

    Happy Easter!

Happy Easter one and all! I shall mostly be getting very drunk... Don't think I need to say where ;-) Have a good one everyone x
  3. Did you have to post that last one? :-S
  4. Each to their own I guess. For me, Dawson Heights is a good feature and part of the view from Horniman's. But yes, even though it's been there years, I'm sure they've all suddenly had a get together and decided to attack the good folks of ED with a crime spree.. Have a word with yourself!

No, it was mentioned, Mockney got it, but can't remember the thread.
  6. To be fair, I never said the youths living there were cool, only the building ;-) Also, I think it adds to the views, and if you want better, nip up to Hornimans, where surely you get some of the best views available (tu)
  7. Quite Right!!!! Don't live to work, work to live :)-D
  8. I've no idea, but I imagine a lot... :-S I'm sure it's not the nicest place in the world, but as a building I think it's pretty cool! My sister used to live right at the top of Underhill, and from their garden it sort of loomed over, at night I always thought it looked amazing... A little intimidating perhaps, but still pretty cool >:D<
  9. I think it looks stunning at night!
  10. Have to say I'm happy with t-mobile flext 35. I was ready to leave t-mobile as my last contract was costing me a fortune (?100 a month!!!!!!). But I use my phone loads, and with this flext 35, it's the equlivilent of putting ?180 on a pay as you go phone for ?35 a month... For an extra ?7.50 you get unlimited web&walk which is really really handy! Best thing is there's no set amount of minutes/texts, you use your "credit" how you see fit... I feel like a salesman for t-mobile now :-S It's the best price plan I've had though.

    Quiet room...

*Thinks "pool party, what a great idea"* *Flicks switch and patio is flooded with disco lights, and 70's funky disco music* *Stands behind pool-side bar in the manner of Tom Cruise in Cocktail* *Scans the Quiet Room for an Elizabeth Shue lookalike....* >:D<
  12. Perhaps it's the banks that are doing it, in an attempt to get back the money they're having to give to people claiming back unfair bank charges.... d'ya think? :-S
  13. Worst thing about the place is the "white noise"... It's got awful acoustics, and I came out feeling a bit dizzy and nausious!

Keef, I suggest > we go with our breadwinning professions rather > than our inclinations. Still not sure where that leaves my job, guess I'm professional (although I'm sure my boss would argue against that ;-) )...
  15. I'll chip in, but it'll have to be in a couple of weeks, as this has become a stupidly busy and expensive month!
  16. *Sticks big cigar in side of mouth and chuckles* Looks really nice.
  17. As a note about the Dulwich Medical Centre, I said earlier in this thread that the problem was you never saw the same doctor twice. However, I've had to go a couple of times recently, and there's a new female doctor there called Dr McCauly (nice Irish lady). She said to me that she's now permanent there, and works Mon, Tues & Weds each week. She encouraged me to start coming to see here each time so she'd know me and wouldn't have to start from the beginning each time. I thought this was a really good thing.

    Quiet room...

*Feels the love in the air* *Rips Wednesday and Thursday off the calendar and shouts "Weekend starts here!!!!"* *Realises this is the Quiet Room and sits down embarrassed*
  19. Bless your heart, you are a kind and generous man! >:D
  20. How do you define "professional"? I'm a qualified worker, and I'm classed as professional within the social care world. However, I don't wear a suit and work in the city ;-) Also, I have an arty (well musical) side, and if I was a pretentious gob sh!te, I might call myself an artist, even though it's not my job.... I know one very good artist in the area who sells her work, but is a secondary teacher by day :-S I agree that it would be interesting, but we need definitions.....
  21. Whateley Road... Hurrah!!! :))
  22. Crystal did say to me yesterday that he was meeting you, but it might be worth giving him a call to see if he's awake! ;-)
  23. Mmmm Green & Blacks Orange Spice (tu)
  24. At the risk of cementing my reputation as a useless drunk, I would just like to say that you often get really good beer deals in Sommerfield :)-D Other than that, I agree it's not great :-S

*Offers up a quick prayer for DM's soul* *Gives DM a big hug, and welcomes her back in to the real world* *Offers "hair of the dog".... Reassures DM that that is not to be taken literally, and that BatDog is safe and well*
