We'll be in the "modern" side of the pub, with the patio area (hopefully it'll be a nice evening so we can step out). Crystal will be the one talking nonsense and dribbling (;-)). I'm the incredibly cool looking one B) ..... :-S Mockers and Ant will be the ones that blind you with flash bulbs!!! (6) Only joking, just look for a group and eavesdrop >:D< ....... I may well be at the bar.... :)-D

Well one could argue that all the bars on LL are pretentious in their way, but if you're down near AJ Farmer's, you're pretty much in the right area ;-)

Inside 72 is really nice, I've always thought it had the feel of a little european bar, but maybe that's just me... Music is usually good, steak sandwiches are great, if a little bit expensive. Only problem really is that it's so small, and gets uncomfortably busy at weekends. a quieter night in the week is well worth popping in for though!

No, it's always been a very classical shop, never has and never will cater for a variety of tastes! Still, have fond memories of my mum taking me there to buy my first music stand :-) -
Keep the faith Chuff, and don't let the neighbours put you off your dream place... Just make a point of annoying them at every given opportunity ;-) Buy your kids a little cricket set, and tell them they get 6 runs if they hit next door's conservatory ;-)

I did once fight back with a bit of Sweet child of mine, but only when I knew I was a lot bigger than the little git playing the music! ;-)

A friend of mine went to the restaurant side of Yilmaz last week, and he said he was really impressed with it, worlds apart from the take away stuff. I personally have only been there very late when very drunk, so don't feel qualified to comment ;-)

There is actually a website campaigne about this very thing, but can't remember the address off the top of my head. I would genuinely rather them play the music louder through a proper stereo than listen to the awful tinny round you get from a mobile speaker, it drives me insane! Doesn't help that I pass about 5 schools on the way to work! :-(

Come on, surely it isn't too hard to guess what someone calling themselves Keef might really be called ;-) Not quite getting the Forest Hill bit, but I'm feeling very very slow today! -
On a sort of related point, a friend of mine was running a pub in West Norwood a while ago, and to make it nicer for the customers she'd put bowls of potatoes, onion rings, chicken nuggets and the like out on the bar, which everyone loved. Then health and safety came in and threatened to close her down as she'd cooked it upstairs, not in a proper food kitchen! Bloody shame if you ask me, you can't beat a nice roast potato with your pint! ;-)
