  1. That's not a bad idea..... Magdalla has a back yard which is quite nice.... Small though. The Vile has quite a nice garden, but a few of us "don't go there anymore" due to the little Ronnie Kray wannabe who owns the joint. (td)
  2. Who is he???? Is he the very camp guy with the glasses who is a regular on 8 out of 10 cats? I only think of him cos of the comparrison with Graham Norton.
  3. eccentric, I suspect I went to school with your kids then.... I was at St Johns from about 82/83 to 89.
  4. Yeah Redrouge, what makes a young couple annoying? I agree with a lot of what you said, but there's nothing wrong with people wanting a home!
  5. I'll vouch (sp?) for I've-met-Jimmy... I'm sure he's not a split personality :-S
  6. Milly from This Life is a cool one (although she was probably the most annoying character in it), I used to love that show!!!! Missed the christmas reunion, but I hear it was rubbish! :-S

*Waves good morning to everyone* *Takes DM aside and explains that if she was to visit Vilnius, she would find that Ana's taste in clothing is in keeping with her native garb* *Sits down and closes eyes whilst considering that the Boom Town Rats really weren't too bright, it's bloody obvious why Mondays are bad!*
  8. That's because the service was awful! Shame, cos the food was good, you just didn't want to wait that long for it, and constantly be told they'd run out of the very thing you wanted to order! :-S
  9. When my sister and I were little, and probably annoying our poor mother, she used to tell us that it was bad luck to talk when you were passing the monkey tree. Stupid thing is, I still don't to this day! :-S
  10. He doesn't exactly sound like an easy, or desirable person to get to know though :-S

*Waves to everyone whilst hoping they were all too drunk to notice total drivle escaping his mouth last night!* *Joins Piers on beach and considers trying paracending... Realises that alcohol still has a hold*
  12. Stephen Clarke's books about life in France are a laugh. If you've never read them and you like thrillers, then all the Hannabal Lecter books are good, especially Red Dragon! Also really enjoyed a book recently called Captain Alatriste, but can't remember the author. It's recently been translated from Spanish to English. At first I thought it would be a rubbish swash buckling adventure, but there's a lou more to it, and it was a good read... Would just like to say that most of my reading is done on the journey to and from work, so that's why mine are the type you can escape in for a while and forget reality ;-)
  13. I will find out about it and pass details on ASAP...
  14. Hurrah, you and me both Tillie >:D
  15. I swear I feel annoyed that these people are getting paid for our gossip!!!!!! :(
  16. I always preferred "Little black book" myself :))
  17. Is it "China in your hands"? (can't get to the link from here). I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! And Carol Decker obviously ;-)

Hair removal..... You have NO idea!!! ;-)
  20. Jamie, there's an a cappella group that I think rehearses at Horniman's each week. They do a mixture of musical styles, and it's all quite casual from what I'm told. You could google it, or I can find out more details if you like... I was told about it by someone, but never got round to looking in to it.
  21. Never lived there, but always thought the gardens looked nice in a hidden away / magic / historiacal kind of way..... That said, I haven't been there for ages either, so it could be a dump now for all I know :-S
  22. Tom, a friend of mine works for little kickers, where he assures me you get a fine selection of yummy mummies, au pairs, and nannies.... How are your football coaching skills? ;-)
  23. I went for red squiggle, and it was sort of me(ish), but I ended up a yellow circle :-S
  24. There's a lot to be said for that, but what about all the social interaction they're missing out on? :-S
  25. Agreed, the chicken shish is really good actually.
