  1. Hmm, well I am "working" from home on Monday, so I shall see how I go. Have a mountain of stuff to get through t the moment, but if I make good time, I'll pick up the Keeflet from my mum's (in ED) early and pop over...
  2. I feel like a baby at a mere 381 months.
  3. Huguenot, is that an old Bob Mills quote? (reminded me of for some reason) Quids, I'm not sure where you stand o this. You said LB was being "westernised" and "liberal", for saying this was loony stuff, but to be honest, I suspect there are few people anywhere in the world who actually believe that boys having a bunk up, cause earthquakes.

    The TV Debate

Thought GB was best last night. Still unlikely to vote labour, but think he spoke well. Have voted Lib Dem in the past, and I feel I should be over the moon that for once they stand a chance of getting somewhere, but I just don't like these MP's like Blair, Cameron, an now Clegg, just can't trust them.
  5. Very true. I suspect the best guitarist ever was not Hendrix, Slash, Blackmore, Clapton... But rather some bloke who played in pubs, that we never heard.
  6. Another one of their's.
  7. , only really known for Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, but did some great stuff, and funny.
  8. Well you do remember Bewitched.
  9. Jah is too cool to admit to liking anything that is not totally cool. Apparently.

It was a real test of endurance to > see how many you could scoff before the presence > of bits of skin dangling from your (now sore and > bleeding) palate forced you to stop. The lure of > that sherbert...irresistable. So true, but they are still my favourites (lemons above strawberry, but both ae good). When on a weekend in Rye a couple of years ago, there were several "traditional" sweetshops, and I came back with bags and bags of stuff. Have to say it was a lot cheaper than H&G too, but that is hardly surprising.
  11. Ive always liked this song, but more than that, I think Natalie Imbruglia atually deserves a bit of respect as a musician, and is more than just another soap star turned pop star . (Live) Anyone else like / respect an artist, whom they feel doesn't get due credit, or taken seriously?
  12. Apparently Froch Vs Kessler will go ahead on Saturday I really really don't like Froch, he comes across as such a prick! Can't put my finger on it, think he tries to be cocky, but just isn't cool enough to make it work, if that makes sense. Ali - Always had the quick quips, and made people laugh, as well as getting to his opponents Naz - Had swagger and put on a show Eubank - Knew how to be the panto villan, and make the fans interested, even if they wanted him to lose Maywaether - Backs up what he says, nuff said Haye - Still has stuff to prove, but has passed ever obstacle so far... Froch has done well, but every time I see or hear an interview with him, I find myself wanting to see him beaten, and beaten well. I was never a big Calzaghe fan, but Froch should show him a bit more respect too IMO.
  13. Agree with Quids. One thing though, if I put "undecided", that is my vote used, so if I then make up my mind, I can't vote again on this here poll.
  14. I've been to Vilnius, and I don't think that photo is really a fair reflection to be honest. I remember it more like http://media.seal.com/uploads/2008/11/vilnius.jpg Cars near flats in London, England http://s0.geograph.org.uk/geophotos/01/27/93/1279339_0735ea15.jpg
  15. Is it? Shows how completely unobservant I am! Although to be fair, I've been using Sydenham more lately.
  16. I'd do a train from New Cros Gate to Forest Hill (8 mins), then a 176, or 185 straight down to Lordship Lane (10 mins(ish). The Mag will be on your right. NOTE: At Forest Hill you'd have to get off the train, exit the platform, then take the tunnel under that station, to come up on the correct side to get the bus. Cross the main road, and get bus outside the big Wetherspoons.
  17. Sad story, and a messed up individual. Hard to know what sort of background he had. I've just been to Venezuela, and although we met lots of wonderful family people, the fact that you can't walk in to a shop, but rather order what you want through metal bars, says a lot about the violence of the place.
  18. You succeeded gg, as I've listened to quite a bit since last time, and may get tickets for this...

    Looks good to me.

    EDF Election Poll

I think you should include "Other" "Won't vote" As options.
  21. Hmm, "Scratch Choral: Haydn 'The Creation' (Sat 8th)", been a while since I've done that. The opening is awesome, Let there be LIGHT!!!!!!
  22. Go to Hornimans under cover of darkness, you know it makes sense!
  23. Seems to work, and judging by the current results, I'm guessing I'm only the 3rd voter. Is it possible that number of voters can be displayed, as well as percentages?
  24. I'm there now, and they are indeed on. Sorry it's a bit late.
  25. Sorry, I've not been up there. It was on a week ago.
