Well clearly to some people it is. Nice. But you then go on to say that a mother could be discreet, which seems to be the ideal solution doesn't it? Just to be clear, I think women should be able to feed wherever they like, but I also think they should try to be discreet, and should respect the views of others.

I am very pro breatfeeding, and also sympathise regarding this incident. However, I find some responces on here rather disturbing. Yes society should bend over backwards to accomodate breastfeeding, but equally, women should respect the feelings of someone who finds it offensive. Not talking about the chap in the shop, more a general point. I do hope this man doesn't get demonised by some tabloidesque trash on telly though.

On this, I am right behind you Scott, The Uplands was gutted and ruined, and anything would be an improvement on the current bar which feels like an airport departure lounge. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the name, does it HAVE to be changed? It's at the end of Uplands Road, it seems a reasonable name to me. The Villager sounds like total w@nk IMO, and is exactly the sort of thing that ED doesn't need, if it wants to cling on to a bit of self respect. Anyway, good luck with the place, will be nice to have another decent pub slightly off the beaten track. Hopefully the annoying types will continue to drink in The Bishop, and this place will be nice ;-)

It used to be unusual for me to not make a drinks, but I never seem to get to them now. I'm not in the country for this one, so at least I've a good excuse on this occaaion.

Although Haye has a belt, he hasn't got what he wants, so can't see him doing anything other than chasing the Klit brothers (see what I did there). Only once he's done that (if he's sucessful) can I see him letting people chase him. Than again, if the purse is huge and it's a prime time American fight, who knows.

RJ Jnr should not be fighting anymore. He was humiliated last time out, and BH will rough him up. It could be unpleasant... Or, RJ jnr could shake off the years, and have one final awesome performance... Doubtfull.

Not a lot, only about 10 different people post on them, and some of them don't live in ED. So I guess it suggests that ED prefers the lounge, or talking about what shops might open.

Sorry if I'm repeating something, as I've not ploughed through all the posts. My wife took our daughter for her 8 month check recently, and was given a tube of Colgate cavity protection (or something like that), and told that that was what they were recommending these days. Our daughter hasn't got any teeth yet though, so no experience of trying it.

Keeper definitely at fault for the first goal. If he'd left it, I think it would have flown over the top corner of the goal. Fair enough, he may not have known that, but he gifted them the goal.

I'm not so up on politics as many on here, but it seems to me, that in a lot of ways, we go around in circles, so "progression" is often going back to an old idea and tarting it up a bit. In social services (and probably many other services), there is a constant cycle of what works and doesn't work. It's like people forget that things were rubbish last time they tried something, because they feel they're even more rubbish in the here and now, so they go "forward" by effectively doing something they were doing 10 years ago, then they realise it's rubbish, so they'll try something else they've already done. I think it's probably the same in politics.

For people having trouble reading in dimmer lighting, I'd recommend these lamps. They are good quality, and I issue them to lots of visually impaired people.

He's a great player, and I was being naughty, but hammering a player who is clearly not fit isn't quite hammering Rafa at top form. For the record, I'd be surprised if Murray doesn't win at least one grand slam in his career (especially when Federer retires). Doesn't mean I'll start liking him, or cheer it as a brit win or anything. I never cheered Tiger Tim either, for some reason, for me, nationality doesn't come in to it with Tennis, or most individual sports. I just like who I like.
