  1. Not being funny, but why can't it just be a fecking toilet?
  2. Just out of interest, has a post ever been reported, to which admin just replies "have a word with yourself, there is nothing wrong with that"? I'd love to know what complaints were made this time, as it all seemed rather friendly and well behaved... I didn't however read all the posts.
  3. Ha ha, and to think I was joshing. Fingers crossed she'll be fine for the walk! Getting exciting now...
  4. Bravo, so will you be dropping Mrs Mockney off at the door of Kings, befor driving back round the corner, then running round to meet her?
  5. So, no one can tell me anything about Fable 2? On a Wii note, my sister ordered me the Ghostbusters game for xmas, which I've yet to get. Am looking forward to playing that, apparently it's short, but good fun.
  6. Hiya, my friend has a cake company, and does a couple of Night Garden cakes, website here.
  7. If there were a load of smashed wine bottles, it could well be that any blood was mixed in with a nice shiraz, and they didn't realise what they were mopping up. Damned waste!
  8. 484 is a horrid little bus though, and gets very busy with school kids (I used to be one of them many moons ago).
  9. Finally got round to watching Gran Torino last night. Well acted, and a couple of really funny moments of Clint being grumpy, but generally just a very predictable story. On a more childish note, I watched The Incredibles for the first time over Christmas, and it's bloody great!
  10. I'm having a bad career, and I'm a father.

    Dogs in pubs?

Dogs in pubs are great, so long as they're not wandering round annoying people who may not be too keen. We had a dog when I was a kid, and he'd walk himself to the CPT, where they'd give him an ashtray full of beer whilst he waited for my dad to turn up. Them was the days.
  12. Assuming he has been banned again, I suspect it was for no reason other than he was already banned, and coming back with a different name doesn't change that. Shame IMO.
  13. Bugger, forgot. Oh well, got it for a tenner, which is gteat value for such a huge game.
  14. I don't want to use up any leave if I can't get to East London.
  15. I find it irritating that England won't win the world cup like in 66!
  16. I have ordered my copy of Oblivion from Amazon, so all ready to kick off when the Onion gets back from holiday, and I get his xbox this weekend! There were several versions of Obvlivion, so hope I've ordered the right thing rather than some add on disk. Think it is called "Classic Edition", but I am guessing it's just a new box to help flog a few more copies. Also liking the look of Assasins Creed 2, and Fable 2. Anyone got anything to say on either of them?
  17. Is there a register of fanatics and terrorists that I can cross reference to, or are you just making figures up to support the argument that you've made up? I agree that there are issues that this country as a whole, and this government are scared to address, for fear of being labelled as racist. However, I just don't see why your point needed to be made on thios thread.
  18. I've never kept a diary on a regular basis, but at times in my life I have written down what is happening, and what is on my mind, as it has helped me to get my head around things.
  19. David, it really does range widely. I'd say it starts with late 20s, and has a good number of people in 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s... Maybe even higher. I think if I was under 25, it might not be for me, as everyone just seemed soooo old back then. But now I'm in my early 30s, I love chatting to all sorts of people, and realise that they have really interesting things to say, that I'll never have experienced.
  20. Erm, I would completely agree with what you say if this were a serious campaign, but I think you're missing the point.
  21. I think what Hunca is getting at, is that you don't see many smiles in French bars. So, we obviously drink lots, and it makes us happy. The French just sit and drink wine whilst discussing art, and then they eat food, and then they go to bed, and then they eat more food, and then they take some photos, and then they look sombre, and so on, and so on... I'd rather be alcoholic than French!
  22. You acted well in the circumstances, and it sounds like he was basically a mentalist. I remember hearing an interview with a man that had gotten off the bus that was blown up on 7/7. He said the young man with a big backpack was frantically mummbling in another language (praying I imagine), so he legged it off the bus, and sure enough, it exploded just after. That I think, was the first report that suggested suicide bombings were to blame. I think I'm right in saying that they remove all of their hair, so that would be a bit of a clue too. A policeman friend of mine told me they were told to look out for this, Charles de Mendez had a full head of hair though, so it obviously didn't help him. Vince, what a stupid post.
  23. My point exactly.
  24. You're in luck then brum, as this is the last Celebrity BB, followed later this year by the last BB, then Channel 4 are dropping it. I guess some other channel could try picking it up, but I'd say it's very unlikely.
  25. This report is just a simplistic load of nonsense based on feck all evidence. End of.
