If you follow my link above, I think there is a tab to "watch it".

Well if you've taken offence then I'm sorry, but I still don't think that terrace chat is "fact". Simple fact is, the owners are liverpool's biggest problem, but they are hard nosed businessmen, who definitely aren't going anywhere because the fans tell them to. So, if we just accept that they own the club for now, and the foreseeable future, will Rafa take the club further, or is he as far as he can go, until a mega rich owner comes along? Personally, I don't base my opinions on what anyone says, I just watch the match, or the highlights, and decide for myself. I don't want Rafa out, and don't think there is anyone to replace him just now. However, I don't think he's the best manager in the world.
-
As for Rafa, I'd be over the moon if he won a title for liverpool, but it, not going to happen this year, and no other cup really matters anymore. Personally, I'd give him one more try next season.
-
It just makes me laugh Anna that you seem to think that people who can afford to go to all the matches, somehow have more right to an opinion than people who can't. Until last season, you watched a lot of matches from your sofa, did your opinions not count back then? Last thing I want to do is have a go at you, but you're always posting shit like that, and it's annoying.

The way the news report it, as if his handwriting and bad right make him a poor PM, it's pathetic. Frankly I think the grieving mother should had a word with herself. Oh, and I'm not a bit GB fan either, but this story is not worthy of a place on prime time news.

Did anyone watch The execution of Gary Glitter on Channel 4 last night? First off, it was really really well written, and well made, and the actor Hilton McRae (who I've not heard of) was fantastic as Glitter. When it finished, I went to bed feeling a bit disturbed, particularly as at the very end, text came up on the screen saying "54% of adults in the UK support the reintroduction of the death penalty" (or something like that). I just hope and prey that that stat is wrong! All the arguements for it in the programme, like "it's justice", "it's about protecting our children"... What a load of bollocks. How is killing the person, protecting the children, once the crime has already been committed? Death sentences are revenge, nothing more. If people want to be pro death penalty, fine, but don't try and dress it up as something good. It is proper old school biblical eye for an eye! I think the good thing about the film, was that it took the most unsympathetic character possible, it didn't try to demonise him, but it certainly didn't defend him, yet for me at least, I still couldn't agree that he should be hanged. I do feel slightly concerned that this film could be made, about a man who is still alive, and has been released from prison. I think he's a twisted individual, but this just seemed a very strange film to have made about you.

Wasn't trying to be mean about the dinner Rosie, I just hate being stuck around a table with probably more than 4 people, I just end up feeling trapped and uncomfortable. As I say, probably just me. Sorry to hear you've had proof, not nice to feel lied to.
-
I'd just want to be in the pub.
-
But that's probably just me.

Cross posted with Moos, and she put it more nicely than I did, but yeah, I'd be considering the friendship. Then again, another friend who is never the quickest to get a round in, once bailed me out of a real "situation" without any hesitation, so things can go in roundabouts I guess. Still, a tight friend is one thing, a friend actually making stuff up, when she'd have had plenty of opportunity to consider what she was doing before pressing "send", doesn't sound very good for you. Oh, and I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who thought sitting around a restaurant table with 20 people, was a good way to celebrate something!

Yeah, I'd email saying that I felt really bad, so I called ahead, and was told it was no problem. That way, you show how nice you are, and that you were willing to pay. Have to be honest, if she is telling lies to get ?30 out of a mate, she sounds like a fecking bitch! *bob*, I've got a couple of those mates, and I continue to spend money on them, but there comes a time (like now my desposable income has shrunk considerably), when enough is enough. Especially when you're staying in because you're totally skint, and the bloke you're always buying pints for, texts you saying he's heading to the pub. Makes me really bitter.

Well said Jeremy.

Not watched this yet, but do have the first one recorded.

Bravo, a brave man can hold his hands up, fair play. I have felt sheepish before now, when I've had a bad day and let it flood on to here via my posts.
-
Just to quickly state that I have not watched it via the website! But yes, you're basically right. I shall come again though, mark my words!

When I look at rememberance day, it just makes me think of how tragic was is, I think it's a great advert for peace.

I have a similar digi box with memory to record, it's great. Can programme to record, or pause the tv phil you nip out for a smoke. Alternatively, just go to the xfactor website and watch the whole thing minus ads, on the iplayer.

Arsenal playing good Arsenal football, but you must admit, there are questions over their staying powwer over the season. Will be cheering for them towards the end of the season though, as I'd rather they be champs than ManU/Chelsea. Alas, Liverpool will not be in the chase.
-
For whatever reason, it's just never really done it for me.
-
Once upon a time, it wasn't. People would go in to a shop and buy a tin of "nigger black boot polish". The word was then connected to skin colour, and forever will be, so yes, if a non black person uses it, then it's 99% likely to be in a racist way.

Was actually starting to like Lucie, but never mind. Lets be honest, the show would lose something without Jedward. They won't win, but Lucie wouldn't have either, so why no point getting rid of the act that people are talking about, before you have to. I hope it comes down to all of Simon's acts, because it would be interesting to see him have to start chosing between them.

Was good to see Drogba get fouled, and the ref waving it away. Boy who cried wolf one too many times.

Not necessarily no. Don't get me wrong, people saying that could well be racist, but it's not so cut and dry.

Huguenot has never struck me as the sort of chap who would feel threatened too easily.
