Don't they do jazz there some evenings? Has anyone been? Thought it might be worth checking out one night with a glass of vino... Have to admit I've been a little put off from eating there now!

I realised that this wasn't the kind of Scrabble night I've been too so far, when a certain slurring Onion turned up at my door near midnight, rather the worse for wear! What was it - some new version of drinking scrabble??!!

Sorry Mogs - am not going to be able to make this week..... I have a need to be whisked round the ballroom by a certain Mr Du Beke!

I've only been here since the 1st February this year - and it's already my favourite place I've ever lived - and I've had 12 addresses in the past 13 years!

Ah - I love a bit of table tennis! Why is that you seem to find a table tennis table in most hotels/complexes on holiday - but you can't find one here for love nor money! I'd be up for a game char1ie if you can find a venue.....!

After reading all the praise for this little Italian I thought it was worth checking out - so Saturday saw me and my "new friend"(!) check it out - and have to agree with Dundag - it really is very lovely! Highly reccomended - feels like a real local kind of place - with a great mix of clientele... have to say there was a rather ecelectic music choice going on though - heavy rock? Anyhow - I'm sure we'll be heading back there soon... it's just a shame ED hasn't got it's own lovely local Italian!

I've always had a soft spot for the Roobarb and Custard music myself - well that and Top Cat!

Well the offices in Putney may look swish with their fancy chairs and iddy biddy little fridges stocked with drinks - but try going in there on a boiling hot day, asking about handing over an extortionate amount of cash to them, and then see if they offer you one of those lovely cold drinks - they just look at you as if you have just been sick on their (square toed) shoes.... it's on;y when you are very nearly sick on your own shoes (not square-toed!) that they actually bother offering you a beverage - Grrr!:X

I too have had a bad experience of Foxtons - on the lettings side.... they completly messed my flat mate and I around a year or so ago - we are still in an ongoing battle with them - I'd avoid them at all costs... all they seem interested in is gaining as mcuh commission as possible - and cutting you up wiht their silly little minis!
