I watched this last night too and thought it was pretty good... and yes - worried about my runny nose! However it made me wonder though if you were one of the few "survivors" left in East Dulwich what would you get up too? Would you be nosy and check out the posh houses, or peep behind the door of the shop next to the Butchers to see what's there...?!
  3. Happy Birthday Georgia! May your day be filled with Pinot Grigio!
  4. Having been in the surgery yesterday I was given one of these surveys to fill in. On the front page it says that answers are treated in the strictest confidence (you don't write your name on anywhere) but then the 1st few questions are about what you think of the reception staff (IMO opinion very rude and unhelpful) and then you are expected to hand them back to the afroementioned reception staff once completed.... I wonder how many of those questionnaires actually make it back to the practice manager or whoever is conducting the survey...
  5. I'll be popping along with the Onion so looking forward to seeing you all later....
  6. ::o Mr Andrew D Black.... are you trying to get my in trouble...?!!!! Honestly FO, I was just trying to whisper in Mr P's ear - and errr... missed! Lovely see everyone who was there the other night - it was my 1st visit to the new incarnation of the Mag I liked it..... it was a tad chilly but the warm welcome from Rose the owner made up for it!! Agree a bit of background music would have been nice! Will head back soon and check out the food..... I know a few brace peeps headed to the EDT afterwards.... any gossip anyone?!
  7. I'm going to be toodling along a tad later..... without my partner in crime tonight :'( Looking forward to seeing you later.....
  8. Annother fun night at a curry house..... lovely to see everyone, and meet someone new too (hello Shoshntosh!) I enjoyed my curry (Sag chicken) but have to say I still prefer the creamy ones! Have to say it was the scariest looking keema naan bread I've ever seen though! Well done to Lady mac on the garlic chicken..... although I think it was missing the raw garlic that was sat atop the Onions curry last time!
  9. The Onion knows the score.... I shall say no more..... other than we have a spare room.....;-)
  10. It does seem a shame, as Sean said earlier, that Toby hasn't been back to this thread to perhpas put his viewpoint accross.... he was all very keen on getting us through the door - but doesn't seem that interested in trying to persude us to return....
  11. I was one of the unfortuntate Mojito drinkers last night - and I have to say having tried many of the mojitos available in London (!) it was pretty rubbish - a very disappointing 1st drink from them! I agree with everything MikeSe22 said a while ago.... could be a great venue - just such a shame the actual bar serving area is so small.... it didn't help that there was the option to sit at the bar - not great when they are queing 3 deep behind them... Kind of place I'd have loved 10 years ago (when I did frequent Clapham etc!) but now I like it to be a little more laid back! Oh - and ladies - the loos are OK too! I will give it a 2nd chance in a few weeks though when hopefully it will have calmed down a little - and they can make a decent mojito!
  12. THis all sounds lovely Nico....Can I also ask for handbag hooks under tables and if there is seating at the bar (which I love!) for there to be coat hook underneath..... Also nice to supply newspapers/magazines for those on their todd - or waiting for someone to arrive.....
  13. Probably see you at the Curry House...... A x
  14. Congratulations BN5 - I know where to come when I can't identify my ankle anymore! (and how cute that Mrs BN5 is so proud - aww!)

  22. I'm a big fan of The Mag too - being a regular Sunday night pub quizzer there! So I really hope they keep the quiz going (with Beany as quiz master!) And the Pieminster pies and pizza are great too...... Fingers crossed it won't be a chain pub!
