Just to throw it out there... how about us trying a curry house a little further afield..... there is a good one in Forest Hill - or Mr P has said there is a good one in Honor Oak - Babur? Anyhow - just a thought....

Thanks for the advice... my dress came in a white plastic dress bag which folds over (sounds like yours Pickle) but I didn't know if they would let me have that as hand luggage... I like the idea of the boxes but they are so flippin' expensive! Traveling with BA - so I hope they are nice to us!

I used to deal with a picture agency in Manchester where my contact was Wayne Ankers.... And there is also a chap in Liverpool who owns a studio called Wing Wong..... Makes me smile every time I have to ring him!

Has anyone had to take their wedding dress abroad before? We're flying to Bermuda next week for our wedding blessing and I don't want to put my dress in the hold of the plane - I'd rather have it as my hand luggage.... has anyone any advice on how it's best transported - in a large suit carrier or a small suitcase - or maybe a box? Any advice gratefully received...... Thank you!

Yay!!! I'll be there - and no doubt the Onion :-$will want to burn his tastebuds off as usual!

As a left-hander I use my knife in my left hand and a fork in my right - not so easy with a proper fish knife though - the blade ends up on the wrong side!

Not sure the Onion is going to be making this one sadly - I've left him at home under a duvet on the sofa...... he's not well... and I'm still on the pre-wedding diet so no curry for me :( Sorry guys x

This will be the final drinks I attend as a unmarried lady....(4 weeks 3 days to go!) and appropriately it's in the place where the Onion and I first met - so we'll be there! Great cocktails there too newcomers!

Hurrah! The strike has been cancelled! Great news for those us flying out with BA next Tuesday - I just hope I don't have cause to press my "call Attendant" button - I have a feeling they may not be too helpful!
