Lovely to see everyone on Monday.. however the evening was a bit let down by the terrible wait for the food...... I did enjoy my curry though - and have discovered chick peas aren't the evil thing I thought they were! Sema Thai sounds great.... will look forward to that! -

Good luck Nick - I look forward to the store opening! Any business that saves me having to go into the West End for shopping is fine with me! (Edited for crap spelling!) -
We're watching this at the moment too - and am up to episode 5.... am really enjoying the twists so far! And am still trying to work who are goodies and baddies! Glenn Close is excellent... a truly terrifying role!

Oops - yes, I did mean Platform 1 Ted! Thanks for the swift response Barry.... I appreciate it's a big task and your actions are most appreciated. Lets see what happens!

Hello Barry Hope you enjoyed your holiday... I have a question that I don't know if you can answer... I use Peckham Rye station and quite often the trains at Platform 4 are quite short. When they arrive into PR they pull right up at the end of the platform about as far away form the steps as possible - and therefore although you can be waiting for a train on the platform you sometimes have to run half way up the platform to get on the last carriage.... (and we all know we shouldn't run on the platforms!) Why can't the drivers make sure they pull up near the stairs? Thanks!

Have a fabulous birthday Piers - go enjoy that beer! HOpe to see you soon... love from The Cat-Onions!

Hello.... it's the Cat here! Lady Gooner - yes - he did go down on bended knee - in Rome! Very romantic! And Peckham Rose...there may have ben a few tears (of joy!) - however I have to point out they were mine! For those that don't know us - we did meet through this Forum.. so we have a great deal of affection for it! Thanks for all your best wishes! xx

A 54 year old woman had?a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.? While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she?asked "Is my time up?"? God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to?live."? Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a?face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had?someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she?had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of?it.? After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing?the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had?another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the?ambulance?"? (You'll like this!) God replied: "I didn't bl***y recognize you."?

Rather handsome too!;-) Andre Royo (Bubbs) spoke exactly as he does in the show though...

Just thought you Wire fans (of which I am becoming one!) might like to know I was at the Baftas last night and met both McNulty and Bubbs - and what a lovely pair they are - very friendly! They were most amused to hear about our forum discussions! They made me do that "Westside" hand thing!

Congratulations Mr Carnell! Lets hope you're out celebrating next Friday for the forum drinks!

As much I enjoyed Susan Boyles performance, I did wonder whether there would have been such a to-do had she been what most people would deem "attractive" or maybe even just ordinary looking? Was it the fact she was a tad frumpy with mad hair and out of control eyebrows that gave her that "makes your jaw drop" factor? Is is that we just love an underdog?
