  1. I'm hoping someone is going to be there with a camera snapping away..... and that the photos will be duly posted for us to examine.....?! I need to know who wore the "skimpiest" running shorts:))
  2. Sadly I'm going to be missing the drinks this evening.... a working weekend I'm afraid.... whilst you're supping away in the Vale and laying bets on who will be the 1st to get thrown out the pub, I'll be supping the Guiness and enjoying the craic (whatever that is!) with the cast of a well known soap opera!! Have fun tonight guys - I expect lots of gossip and photos! x
  3. Have you crazy boys tried this! http://www.chilliworld.com/SP6.asp?p_id=134

    Hi there

HI there Muffin Top, you're going to love ED! I'm just in the process of renting out my 1 bedroom flat at the moment if you're interested... Here's the link! http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?22,128958
  5. I was meaning East Dulwich/Lordship Lane to be the Manhattan!
  6. The Black Cherry is one of my favourite bars in East Dulwich - BUT only on week nights! Friday and Saturday nights tend to be rather - erm - lively (?!) for me! During the week when it isn't rammed with "out of towners" it's a great place to sit and sup a cocktail or few....... In it's defence though I did have a gathering there last Friday night and the staff were all lovley and the drinks great as always.. even making 'off-menu' cocktails.... however we did all leave there by 9.30pm when it was starting to fill up! Slightly off topic - New York calls the non-Manhattan folk that "invade" their city the 'Bridge & Tunnel crowd' - I wonder what we should call the Non-ED residents that hit LL on the weekends...? ;-)

I bought my god-daughter a limited edition print in a nice frame (a black and white pencil drawing of Winnie The Pooh!) when she was christened.. it's hung in her bedroom ever since and I know she still loves it.... I also think a classic jewelry box is a nice gift for a girl.....
  11. Thank you for all the birthday wishes - I had the best day and was thoroughly spoilt.. and a really great evening - so lovely to see so many of guys in The Plough last night - and special thanks to Keith and Dems for the Happy Birthday rendition! I loved it :)),
  12. I saw those "I Love SE22" bags too - thought they were fab until I saw the ?10 price tag! I'd have been surprised if they sold any as the "Dulwich Going Greener" jute bags were being sold for ?2 each! I saw plenty of people wandering around with them! All in all I thought it was a fabulous day! Great to see so many EDF's there too - and I think we were indeed one of the last groups to leave the Green!
  13. Planning on heading down with Mr Onion & others this afternoon - hope to see some of you there! Mike P - you about?
  14. Another lovely evening spent with the fine folk of ED! Great to meet new faces too, EmeryWD/Strawbs/Jaws/Louisisna/David_Carnell & Hannah (x2!) - great you made it it for the 1st time - hope to see you all again! Azul - the flat hunt continues - keep your eyes peeled for us! I imagine your new toilet hunt may be a bit more desperate..!
  15. Ooh fabulous - another cocktail bar, I'll certainly along to sample the delights!
  16. Fab pictures Mr Black - everyone looks like they are having such a good time - and we were!
  17. 9th May is good for me too!
  18. This was just on the Popbitch newsletter... so not sure how true it is... ----------------------------------------------------- Livesey Museum for Children has been shut by Southwark Council. Rio and Anton Ferdinand's mum is a big supporter, so Southwark residents are hoping the footballers get behind the campaign to keep it open. -----------------------------------------------------

  22. Oooh! Top list there LuvPeckham... James Bond (Daniel Craig of course, but closely followed by Pierce Brosnan!_ but the top spot has to go to the one and only Jack Bauer - phwoar!
  23. Is this the funniest program on TV at the moment...?! Did the right person get fired tonight???
  24. Hmmm - am leaving the office now so I not sure if I'm needed or not.... will be back home by 7pm so if I am send a mesage and I'll pick it up when I get back and I can come and meet you wherever it is!
