  1. Doesn't look very facking bright from where I'm sat, dripping.
  2. So, back from my first trip to Omrith. I enjoyed it, but I have to say I wasn't wowed. The food was nice: good flavour, quality ingredients, not at all greasy. But it lacked oomph. Not just heat - although that was certainly lacking - but overall it just wasn't quite... yunno... as good as a really good curry can be. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back there again, but whether I'd make a point of doing so? Hmm...
  3. Off for my first Omrith experience tomorrow night, thanks to this thread, and very much looking forward to it. Shall report back.
  4. You'll need to add your licence numbers in this thread, and enter everyone else's too. All the licence numbers are earlier in this thread - try looking around this post: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/profile.php?20,1160
  5. There were a couple of Mario Kart races - could definitely be more.
  6. Oh look: she's back. That'll learn me to post a thread like this before two days are up. :-$
  7. Yup - cats do wander. She hasn't really done before this, but she's also quite young so perhaps she's only just getting a taste for it. Still, fairly sure she'll be back before too long.
  8. Bombay Bicycle is good - very tasty, not at all greasy - but also quite expensive. I tend to only consider it if I want summat a bit special as opposed to just fancying a ruby.
  9. My Wii fit has been languishing under the sofa for far too long. Oh, the shame! I shall get it out and give myself a week or so to get going again, then I might divulge some scores.
  10. Are we talking about mothers who happen to live in Dulwich, or are we talking about Dulwich Mums?
  11. Mog Tabby; red collar, small brass name tag; microchipped. Last seen about 2.00am Monday 13 October, when we put her out for the night. Top (ie Library) end of Landells Road, backing onto Crystal Palace Road. If you happen to spot her please get in touch. Our phone number's on her name tag - or you can drop me a line on here.

    36C boob thread

DM, I'm left wondering why you have a slipper in your bag. Do you normally carry them around or did you slip one in especially? I'm also surprised to see you using a manky old slipper for the job when surely a diamond-encrusted spanking paddle would be more de rigueur.
  13. Could be a bit of a long wait...
  14. In which case he should know. I'm buying a helmet before it all kicks off.

Bravissimo are good for those blessed with big bajongas. (This statement is equally true from both the female and the male point of view.)
  16. We're all FARCed.

  18. You could try this - they do all the menu planning for you and even write out the shopping lists. http://www.thekitchenrevolution.co.uk/
  19. There's a meet up going on this evening: http://www.flickr.com/groups/pootle/discuss/72157606413623028/ Apologies for the very short notice.
  20. Too right! I think that's one of the biggest pleasures, although I do also enjoy the actual cooking for its own sake. 'Me time in the kitchen': yes, that too. Listening to Just A Minute while I chop veg - ahh, there's lovely. Also, I love making big portions of stuff that'll feed the family twice. Much better than a ready meal and no extra effort. Made a big spicy red lentil soup the other day and got about 5 meals out of it, most of which is now frozen until the next time I can't be arsed to make summat from scratch. That one worked out at about 50p per serving. Result!
  21. Maybe they're experimenting to see which type of speed table works best? Either that or they're eejits.
  22. Wonderful stuff Mr Max. And DC, I can see where you're coming from with Mark from Peep Show only I suspect there'd still be a smattering of history and Nazis in there if it were him.
  23. I always notice when something is badly written, for whatever reason. It's a large part of my job so it has become automatic, but I think I'd notice mistakes whatever job I did. I'm just that sort of person. I try not to comment when people mess up as it rarely achieves anything positive. Even so, when I see a misplaced apostrophe or similar it just... vexes me. It's instinctive. (I was born after 1970.) [Edited to change an it's to it has - just cos I notice stuff dun't mean I claim to always get it right myself. And again: and. Gah.]
  24. I think all the really useful stuff has been said already. So, first of all, congratulations. And secondly, so sorry that your boss is a shit. (Actually, there's probably a greeting card for that last one. If not, there should be.)

    Petty Annoyances

This one's not that much of an annoyance, but it is petty: people who don't remove the stickers from the bottom of a new pair of shoes. Yes, we can in fact all see the stickers when you're walking despite their being on the bottom of your shoe. And yes, it does make you look a bit silly. And lazy/forgetful/generally a little bit slack.
