  1. Was too tired to make it to pub but sounds like a great game of football. Come on you irons, Championship here we don't come. .... hopefully.
  2. If someone's ever replied to all on one of your previos circulars, just do a reply to all on that with all new content. But no I don't think there's a mail group type functionality on the forum I'm afraid. I guess you could get everyones email addresses atthe event itself and use email, or phone numbers and text(some phones allow for txting groups)
  3. Or do I just wair for Diablo II? I'm currently ploughing into Forza Motorsport 3. Yes it's basically a very pretty FM2, with better physics and leaderboards but all the little touches like dirty laps, quick upgrades are well thought out, plus it's te nly game where the in car view is actually the best one as opposed to an unplayable but pretty distraction.
  4. Congrats RC, look forward to seeing her down the Boleyn (I meant the ground, but I guess we can pop in the pub). Sorry I didn't make it to the PLough as had been struck down with a horrid stinky cold. Any plans for a future one, though I guess we could get a de facto quorum on friday at Hoopers?
  5. Thanks to an FnB recommendation am listening to 'Something give never heard before' a blugrass tribute to Modest Mouse. Utter class (and on spotify!!!)
  6. Apologies Silverfox, didn't mean to snap. It's not your fault. Well, I hope; you're not omnipotent I trust?
  7. E-coli seems a happy customer, perhaps it's them. My god, we're just food!
  8. Oh deary me. What are you, five? I'm not blaming God, thems the vagaries of a cruel and uncaring universe. It's part of life, accepting that doesn't make me any less angry or this situation any less tragic. Just wondering how believers equate this sort of thing with a loving god of a karmic balance or whatever. Plus why on earth would an all powerful entity capable of creatig a universe, when making a creature in his own image, the entire focus and purpose of the whole of the vast universe's existence, do so with such cruel imperfections? Seems a bit odd to me.
  9. Found out on Saturday that a friend of mine, a good man who's made no enemies, whom everyone likes, who is only 33 and just had his first child with his wife, has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour and has an uncertain but fairly short amount of time left. Anyone care to explain what sort of God does that? Anyone, anyone, Bueller?
  10. Two words for you. Key. Babs.
  11. Right now on this drizzle sodden platform I'm listening to all things summery on The Duckworth Lewis Method. Not just a must have for all cricket fans, but a pretty damn good album too.
  12. As ever, genius from the mash.
  13. It was all rather predictable wasn't it. Mind you if he looked like a smirking buffoon by the end of it, how bad did Straw look?!
  14. I did live in a flat where appliances would mysteriously turn on in the middle of the night. Noone had done it and it was very spooky waking up and having to turn them off. Eventually I worked out one of my flat mates was a sleppwalker and had no idea he was doing it, so err it wasn't a ghost. Plus it was on Stoke on Trent so wasn't local either. I'll get my coat shall I? Oh my god look over ther....a cat...*scarpers*
  15. If we all vote for you will you do a guest spot at one of keef's musical spots at the plough teaser?
  16. I was going to say, it makes such great Reading now, keep up the good work and the love lads. Anyway just had a chuckle at owen Hargreaves coining the phrase 'he was the difference maker' in the world of footie punditry.
  17. Liberal use of the word edification perhaps?
  18. Bloody hell. Tank girl has 25,000+ posts. We are but amateurs barely worthy to polish her keyboard!! Good girl!! Plus I always fancied tank girl in the picture book. I must say it has the musty bitter odour of mike rather than the sharp acrid air of snorky.
  19. Actually I think you'll find that should have been presented as one.... ...doh!!
  20. I'm quite enjoying a slightly odd album by Euros Child called Son of Euro Child. If you're looking to fill in an hour or two of the next fortnight you could do worsethan get hold of it. They're giving it away free at their site which is nice. Http://www.euroschilds.com
  21. I have to say that if I didn't have to look in the gossip section I'd happily give it a wide berth. On the while it's a pretty unpleasant place sadly. It just makes the lounges light shine oh so brighter and keeps it free ish of troll infestation.
  22. 1. Actually I think you'll find...... 2. Err..no that's it
  23. Weve all marked it one out of ten for effort, yummy mummies and middle classes with bugaboos on NCR, come on you can so better. Thing is there so much traffic and so many new users that all louisa needs to do is wait 3-4 months rinse and repeat. Come on loopy lou, you can do better than that. Tirch et al, do t rise to it, you'll just make her chuckle into her pinot grigio
  24. Do you know, I think this is actually legit. I think she just wants to win. She was also in Harry Potter you know!
  25. Can we at least make yummy mummy become &(?(?;?);:&? As this is in the lounge it's too late to warn all therelative newcomers that Louisa is the forums pet troll I guess. Oh well, next time.
