Talking of rabbits, Blackberry in Watership Down...anyone....anyone?

Eeek, HB, that was Jah's perversion not mine!!!! Is Nicola Stapleton loopy and perverse as I always had a bit of a thing for her? A friend of mine's apparently quite pally with her and keeps threatening to introduce me. That. I'm sure, would be very wrong.

What's the capital of Iceland? About ?3.50

Yep Brendan, head of news international here in the UK, and it was in this edition of Private Eye Sean, so I'm guessing pretty recent. I've seen photos of him but he IS pretty forgettable. Apparently she was spotted berating Adam Boulton (the name has come back to me) for not letting on. 'Do you know who I am' has to be the most annoying thing in existence, as if somehow rules don't apply just because your face is on telly, or you kick a ball. Woo.

Ha ha, I reverse engineered the story.

"Amanda Platell" Jah, did you read the story about her at some party up at the labour conference. She apparently saw the Sky anchor and went over to him where there was some nerdy bloke whom she took to be a junior spin doctor or researcher standing by them, not obeying the law that minkies should sod off when celebs start talking. She gave him a withering look and said something on the lines of "why are you still here? Shoo" Then leaned over to grab his pass in order to berate him by name, only to see the words "James Murdoch" written on it. Oops!!!! Made me chuckle anyway.

Did you see the old dear at the microphone with McCain last night saying that Obama's an Ay-Rab, even McCain was forced to say, no he's a family guy and a 'citizen', whatever that means. Didn't deny it though did he.

My Missus had the usual thing for Morinho, and then surprised me by professing one for Alan Pardew, which is kind of nice as I seem to be well on my way to a silvery barnet, and the big conk's already there!!.

"still cant believe she got married. Selfish cow." Ha ha, I know EXACTLY how you feel!!

That Butler-Henderson lass had something about her, yet she's far from a classic beauty. Jessica Stevenson (?) from Spaced and Royle Family and Son of Rambow, lovely. Had a bit of a weird thing for wotsername from 2.4 children, though mainly back in her Dear John days.

From what I've seen Stewart may be happy to satirise everyone but he seems to have been quite up front about his communist (by US standards obviously) leanings. Much like the mash or South Park, nobody is safe but you don't have to read too deeply to work out where they're coming from. I don't think that equates to an agenda as such, but at the very least an editorial policy. I've maintained for a while that I think the Republicans will win this one, but I'll be if it doesn't look like they might actually lose it. All McCain needed to do was keep a more or less dignified silence in terms of his campaign, making non committal noises during debates etc, and pick a safe running mate. Whoops, and how [glad am I]!!!

I've seen worse crimes Gerrard, you looked that's the main thing ;) Here's the thread. Gad you enjoyed it, I've something of a soft spot for Elbow myself, and thought the latest album rather good. Off to Half Man Half Biscuit up the road at the forum on thursday...very excited. and to add some music to the room, have some Blanket

Debit cards are pretty useful, as are cash machines. Mortgages too are quite useful, I'm going to have to barter a helluva lot of chickens to buy a modern, centrally heated, eco-neutral house. Investment Banking? Again, I can see how raising capital for genuine capital investment is a good thing, but all that profiteering of the back of those mechanisms? Gawd knows!

Is that your flemish and irish ancestry, bloody hell Brendan, you practically ARE a viking
-
Plus I'm a bit swarthy, don't shave very often and have beady eyes, basically I'm a shoe-in for 7 hollow points to the head if I even go near the tube or a labour party conference, heart heavy with heckles.

Don't worry, if you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear. Of course, if you're an African immigrant taking our jobs on the other hand......the Guillotine!!!

to celebrate their new album, an old 'classic' Spinto Band - Oh Mandy

That's a point, did anyone actually see the body, or did the Bolivians let him go off to peaceful retirement in S E London? How come you're not in the People's Republic of Tooting Keef, but stuck here with the Clapham Bourgeois immigrants huh...huh?

Most of it is withing the square mile, but that atmosphere isn't as bad. Parts I'mreally quite fond of, and lots of lovely old buildings. Steer well clear of Smiths of Smithfield though!!

"Ex-Pats?...Are the Guys in their own little Colony in Spain affecting the everyday life of the average Spaniard in any shape or form? .Surely the answer is No. How many of them want Spanish Social Housing and are dependent on their Host Nation? .Few,I would suggest. " Oooh deary me no. They've had a horrendous impact on many communities in Spain, and ageing immigrants in general (not just the brits this time) have also been a major contributory factor to one of Europe's best health services groaning and creaking hugely under the strain. So your Brit contributes nothing to the new nation's coffers then at an age when they're pretty much guaranteed to need expensive medical care they....jump to the front of the queue. Meanwhile they'll claim they were forced out of their country because of all the "immigrants with their strange foods and clothes and wailing minarets, who can't be bothered to learn the language or integrate..blah .. blah" whilst simultaneously shouting rudely at the locals in English, calling them all Pedro, eating bangers and beans, drinking heavily, upsetting the locals, only ever going out in their own places singing karaoke and playing bingo...etc ... etc ... Of course the genuine Brits who left for a new and better life and DID integrate into the communities are the ones who really suffered as they were once part of the communities they joined, now find themselves shunned as part of this ugly invasion. Tengo mucho familia por alla y I'm just saying... And Spain is number one ex-pat destination of recent times, though obviously there are greater numbers in the Commonwealth thanks to historical emigration to Canada, Australia and New Zealand

Genius, I loved the knitted turds!! The video has to be watched though

Like DC I like to steep myself in thought from across the spectrum, just to make sure that I'm not mad, it's just that everyone else really is wrong :-/ Then you come across something like this and I start wondering if I really am insane. Who'd a thought it eh McCain a bloody pinko!!
