  1. Sounds good until that last one. Well, good for a siesta I guess ;)
  2. I've downloaded the full 360 version, but haven't really given it a go yet.
  3. I live exceedingly close to this so have a vested interest that it's not going to be a complete eyesore; so wait with baited breath. And yeah, where are the windows? There are absolutely none round the back either!!
  4. Even with all the best pointers, stickies etc, people will still do it. I can't believe people don't just google the key words in their question more often, but that's just me.
  5. There have been stickies with etiquette in the past, and various discussion around this. But human nature the way it is*, we just have to put up with it and as you did, leave a little suggestion for next time. *man finds out about forum, man wants a driving range, man posts asking for one, man may not be well versed in netiquette and indeed it may be man's one and only visit to the forum until man thinks hmm I wonder what's a good curry house and man revisits with new posting. Ho hum, what can you do?
  6. The trick is not to have 'Formerly known as Crystal Clear' as your signature.
  7. "The Dulwich Horror" good pun!!
  8. can't make the ruby and will be popping in for the drinks, but I have relatives along so can't stop too long. Will still bring the book along though BM.
  9. Eeek, emoticon revolution. Talking of, doubtless the russian revolution over a sugared absinthe in some Brighton gale-beset sea-front bar as we speak, I imagine are this lot British Sea Power - Remember Me
  10. They used to have a policy of having to be in by a certain time to partake of the late licence. I don't know whether getting rid of that is a good or bad thing. Depends on whether i'm on the inside or the outside I guess (though they usually snuck me in anyway B), it pays to get on well with the door staff)
  11. There is, but hundreds of users are yet to vote. The uplands have just doubled their vote too.
  12. I must get back to that at some point. First want to finish Bioshock, then Zelda. Aagh, and got zookeeper back of spence which is keeping me up at night.
  13. dance to this geek boy...DANCE!!!! Yeah yeah, these should be in the geek thread Legend of zelda on a theremin
  14. Or the sainsburys beer section and a chair.
  15. people not as green as they claim http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=522&Itemid=59
  16. Sadly that programme has ended. Those mornings will never be the same again.
  17. We did ponder a comintern for interminable class war threads and a dungeon where threads that mention clapham could go, also a drawing room for serious debate (I'd still love to see that mark), but no, no lounging lounge threads that offtopicate. Anyhooooo, 6722kane, I just can't believe 6721 kanes had registered previously, sushi, well, cos it's one of my favourite foods and bumpkin as it's one of my favourite words.
  18. Pseudonyms are more for stopping prospective employers googling for you and asking very awkward questions in job interviews as one forumite discovered the hard way when she was interviewing for the post of Kanye West's bling polisher. Not such a problem if you happened to be a john smith, not that we have one of them, but I've yet to discover anyone with my name.
  19. In all fairness if you look at rob's cheek i think his tongue may be poking it a little.
  20. the crossword is ok on the london paper, other than that it is essentially heat magazine. Agree with Nero about the litter too.
  21. I met one of the girls who write London Lite at a BBQ this summer. She is one of two. Says it all really. Lovely girl as it happens, but what can you do.
  22. Yeah, it's pretty comprehensive these days. Go on horsebox, you know it makes sense..join the clan!! http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm I've just noticed Ninja Gaiden is on there. Right, I'm finally going to finish that!!!
  23. I may have to take a compendium of Azul's posts to a publishers and claim him as a suburban beat poet. It may fly. Generation ED?
  24. *ahem* in my mid thirties, I was kind of referring to the early 20s crowd.:-$ I was your age when I moved to ED and felt very at home; now I feel a bit old for the bish of a weekend night, and a bit like a dirty old man in inside72, but still very much at home in most other places.
  25. fair enough. I don't really think the demographic is young enough for one, but they're welcome to try if, as mark points out, they can get the licence.
