Oh believe me, when the mid life crisis hits I'll run off to spain or argentina and run a lovely little bar somewhere where the English don't hang out (apart from the nice ones). Lingo shouldn't be too much of an issue!! Hmm, that really should have been in the reggie perrin thread.

When the kids come I'll end up house husband for a bit as the Mrs is the high-flyer. You should read the bit in Robert Fisk's book [Great War for Civilisation] where he smuggles a chunk of shrapnel from a Hellfire that blew up an ambulance leaving a lebanese village killing three kids and a woman. He takes it, along with a photograph of the dead, to a meeting with some high ups at lockheed martin who thought he wanted to write a piece about how wonderful their missile. Worth a (often harrowing) read.
