  1. Yes I apologise if I was poking fun. I have posted this a couple of times http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forum_etiquette#Forum_etiquette I realise not everyone hangs around on development forums for a living (very dull believe me), so not everyone's tech savvy, but that link is a very good starting point for some online community guidelines.
  2. My last for the day. It's a good'un this time. In fact were it not for Mrs Mockney I'd be tempted to go to New Yoik and stalk this lady, she rocks. Regina Spektor *sighs*
  3. It's err interesting, that's about the best I can say about it. In fact I'm sure it would be much nicer without the wormwood.
  4. Brilliant Blinder, how on earth did you happen by that? Lets hope DM doesn't wander into this room, she'll be traumatised; is it my imagination or can you hear them scream briefly as they're plunged into the boiling water?
  5. It does have 8 shots in it, including an absinthe. 10 of those and you'd be in casualty as well as bankrupt ;D
  6. And floors him with uppercut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow9EaGQHFW0 OOOooOOOoooOOOOOOOoooh awimamweh awimaweh
  7. Agreed, same with black cherry really, if you're going to go either, enjoy them for what they're good at. Though the BC's ?11 zombie is perhaps a little too lethal.
  8. Right. Two can play at that game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPUc5PbEh3E dee da da daaaa dum
  9. Some quick mental maths reveals that yourself, keef and I are responsible for a shade under on in 5 of those posts (17%). Perhaps we should get a life.
  10. It is quite funky, free wifi if that tickles your fancy, and I enjoyed their peckham carnival when they tried, tongue in cheek to rival the notting hill one. However the beer on tap is scarily expensive, is it 4 quid yet? Getting there anyway.
  11. TimTim, Ant's right, I do like it. The head waitress Chloe is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was good with Mrs Mockney's 9 year old niece when we took her. The food is jolly nice without being exceptional, but reasonably priced and maintaining it's standards which is encouraging and seems to be gaining popularity which is good as that spot has been a restaurant graveyard in the past.. Try the seared beef or goat with plantain and basil for starter. The chilli eel also delightful. Nice Vietnamese curries, noodles and soups for mains.
  12. Crystal, The Starland Vocal Band, sick sick sick!! As antidote I offer up this classic San Quentin, may you rot 'n burn 'n hail
  13. Ooh yes. If the weather's nice we could set up a few barbies on peckham rye or goose green?
  14. Oh no, the decision as to where could go on til next year. But nice idea, I'd be up for it.
  15. Indeed Jeremy indeed, and don't you think Jah Lush has raised an important point. Do you think there a too many out of towners, saaaay Claphamites, invading Dulwich for its manifold curry houses and pubs and house price rises?
  16. Indeed it is, posted a link on the environment one as thought it appropriate, but equally good on the cyclists one
  17. Oh yes, the chinese supermarket is terrific. Never again a tiny pack of coriander for ?1.99 in sainsbury's.
  18. Well spotted. While we're at it, are there any good local carveries in the area for sunday lunch?
  19. CrystalClear has trumped us all with his second link. Sums it all up quite nicely
  20. Ha ha aha ha, genius.
  21. I straddle both worlds, living at the top of DK hill as I do. I'm not often tempted north sadly, but that's not to say there's nothing to offer. The Grove I will check out, the Dark Horse too, The Funky Munkey can be fun on occasion. Not a big fan of the Castle (the non scary one), but then I'm not a big fan of the Bishop. Sun & Doves has nice garden. The George Canning and Buddha Jazz are SE5. Oriental Culture's a nice takeaway and there's a cool little music shop off the green crossroads. medicine bar looks interesting, any good? err...McDonalds?
  22. We have an occasional screening night, usually round mine, we call, pompously, the East Dulwich Film club (usually fortnightly tuesdays or wednesdays though we've slacked off a bit of late). Perhaps that could be your first offering Mark.

I've just heard that the the Pakistan cricket team have packed up cricket in favour of bobsleighing.
  24. You know he may be a forumite, so lets not be too harsh even if his music is sh!t. He could even be batdog!!!
  25. Is this your way of saying 'lighten up'? ho ho ;)
