Salad greens, herbs and tomatoes. I live mostly on fruit and veg so want whatever I eat to be as fresh as possible. I uproot a lettuce, wash it and oil it and I call it supper. I don't have a very big appetite (puting it mildly) so whatever I do eat needs to be good food. I user the term "good food" to mean "doesn't contain a chemical sh*t storm" rather than "deserves a Michelin award".

I grow my own salad stuff from scratch; people who know me well find this incredulous (apparently it doesn't fit my image; but I'm pretty obsessive with having a healthy diet.

Quite agree with you about stuck with them at a party though - some of them are dead anyway so that's a real conversation stopper.

Random muso thoughts: Kraftwerk played both Brixton and the Royal Festival Hall in living memory (3-4 years ago I think). In performance they are really dull. The 2008 Meltdown Festival at the Festival Hall (with Massive Attack as curators) due to announce lineup any day now. Portishead? Madonna guesting maybe? Tricky (what happened to him?). Whatever. These last few days I've been mostly listening to The Doors - man I would have loved to have seen The Doors play. Except for right now this moment - I'm listening to Iggy.

I knitted a jumper once. It was awful. I may still be on the wanted list for "crimes against wool". Then I discovered Selfridges and the rest is history. The purple one is nice though.

I think the Dr Boo ladies are fabulous and always helpful. I would find it really off-putting to shop somewhere that exchanged cosmetics.
