That's an interesting point Robyn - the fact that a lot of your friends regret their tattoos. I see a lot of really young girls with them and I wonder if they realise that the are stuck with them. Also, I'm in my 40s and, let's just say, that flesh moves about a bit. Things aren't in exactly the same place they were when I was 20. So what happens when firm young tattood flesh gets older. Seriously, what does it look like?

I wouldn't be surprised Brendan. Probably something straight off a take-away menu. Never seen a tattoo that looks good on a woman (sorry Robyn88). On a woman I would put them on a par with, say, stretch marks. But on a man I agree they are totally hot. I know that is hypocritical at worst and perverse at best, but there we are.

I don't like tattoos on women. There. I've said it. Please don't hate me. Conversely, I'm attracted to a man with ink because it shows he can stand a bit of pain and isn't a total pussy.

Sorry, then I misunderstood the "lynch mob" comment. I do take on board your point that there may be a counter argument, it's the joke at the OP's expense that I'm not happy about.

AM had a traumatic experience with her daughter and she came onto the forum for advice. Next up, along came you with your insensitive post ready to have a good laugh at her expense. Now you follow up with a half-cocked and inflamatory argument that does not excuse your earlier crassness. The worst of it is that I know for a fact that there are many many people in the area who are signed up to the forum but who are not prolific posters. Well Hoochie that's kind of course but I've just done watching Shakira's Glastonbury on YouTube and I think I would need to spend the next 10 years in some serious training to get my hips to be that truthful. Pxxx
