  1. KK wins the internet today. 2. I know, I'm really upset for her! What kind of person would steal a babies pram?
  3. Posting on behalf of a friend in the hope that someone here may have seen something today, I have posted in Lost & Found but thought I'd try here too as I know a lot of you use the museum. We just (between 2pm and 3pm) had our buggy stolen from the buggy park inside Horniman Museum, next to the cafe. It?s an olive green iCandy, with a John Lewis wool footmuff and Snooze Shade in the bottom. If anyone gets wind of it I?d appreciate hearing from you, thanks. Only the bottom of the footmuff was in the buggy, i.e. the bit little one lies on. Also, there was a Mummy Clip and similar, smaller clip attached to the bottom of the buggy. When we left two security officers were looking at CCTV footage... Can?t believe it?s gone!

Not a thread about the 80's Scouse sitcom? Disappointed.

  7. Oh that is sad, not been up that way for years but I grew up on Forest Hill Road in the 80's/90's and we were always in the post office, buying sweets and renting videos. I wish them all the very best for the future.
  8. Spaghetti bolognese, with the bolognese bit straight out of a tin, just heated and poured on to the spaghetti. Tinned sardines on toast. Birds trifle mix. Tinned fruit cocktail with tinned cream. Boil in the bag 'cod in parsley sauce'. Cup-a-soup. Sardine and tomato paste sandwiches. Frey Bentos steak and kidney pudding. Jelly with tinned fruit set in to it with 'squirty' cream. Iceland used to do beefburgers with cheese inside them, I still remember how good they were (I suspect they were nowhere near as good as I 'remember'). Sour milk in a glass bottle that genuinely put me off milk for life (OK, not junk food but had to add as the scars are still there).
  9. Ah, thought that may be the case!
  10. Was the Imagination library thread in the Family Room Discussion area an accidental victim too?
  11. If your leave year runs from April-March, there are only 7 bank hols this tax year.
  12. Excuse the Daily Fail link but this happened last year, was just a mile down the road from the latest incident and bares similarities: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5197493/Homeowner-killed-drunk-burglar-cleared-murder.html
  13. Quorn, Pytchley, Albrighton and all the blocks on the DKH estate are names after hunts. The estate and roads were all created in the 1930's, I presume as the kennels were for hunting dogs, this is the link. .

  17. You can be excused if it is within 2 years of last doing it. I've just been summonsed for the 4th time!
  18. For anyone who may have missed the huge sign by the station entrance, we will indeed be having another M&S. ...You wait 4 billion years for an M&S and then 2 come along at once...
  19. The 2 women who often go through the bins on our road only ever take clothes.

My first reaction to that post was exactly the same as yours... Then I realised this thread was started a couple of days after the Grenfell fire.
  21. No personal experience, but know of one family very happy with the school who have been there since the start.
  22. Possibly the same one we can hear on Ivanhoe Road New Girl? Sounds like it's coming from Copleston Road? It's now 1.50am and the music is still loud, there's a woman with an incredibly loud laugh and an man shouting along with the music... Not 100% sure where it's coming from either though.
  23. Hospitals won't take soft toys, only toys which can be wiped clean.
