  1. They can be more difficult to get a mortgage for, though. And, therefore, harder to sell on if the market isn't bats**t crazy like it is at the moment.
  2. Ha - I very, very rarely get hangovers. I think I can count the serious hangovers in my life on one hand. A wonderful genetic trait. And it's not from lack of drinking, either.
  3. Does your Milk Snake bring all the boys to the yard?

Where will it end?
  5. Have Burbage and Woodrot merged into some sort of super-cynic?
  6. Bagsy being Frankincense. Or is it Frankenstein? I get so confused.
  7. Finished!! Have to admit I had to get some help on a couple, but I am officially number 2235 in the 100 club. A couple of groan-out-loud puns in there.

They are paying ?750k just for the 2 minute X-factor spot tomorrow night.
  9. A spreadsheet with all the names in helps... a lot. Especially since the overground stations are rather unknown to me. 35 after a couple of hours so far.
  10. Yay, Shorty. Missing your brilliant posts. Perhaps you could use your convalescent time to write the book I know you've got in you. Get well soon!

There was a previous thread about this where I said that > I thought schools requiring pupils to wear poppies is wrong, and I still do. I always wear a poppy, but I agree with DaveR entirely. I think it was Jon Snow that started not wearing one on C4 news and was put under enormous pressure to do so. It has to be a personal choice.

One word: potential. All it needs is someone who can work out how to make money from it. Try and create a media outlet from scratch with an audience of 150 million.

So your saying that veggies don't see food as a treat, but just as sustenance? I can certainly believe that.
  15. Good grief, it's like watching a stalker in action.

  17. Fascinating read, Many thanks.
  18. ... and both are poor sentences. ?50 is an insult. He would have got worse if he'd been illegally parked while he did it. But five years? In fact, any jail sentence for that kind of thing? Madness.

  20. Ha! Love that URL.
  21. Rather than stick it on a forum, why not dial 101 (the police non-emergency number) and tell them? They might be able do something about it.

Do you think if it worth their efforts, they wouldn't do this? When only 10% of your custom order vegetarian, why devote more that 10% of your menu to it? The reason there aren't more veggie options is that they are just not popular choices.
