  2. Please pass on the message to the Head Gardener that the garden (not sure what it's called, the one with all the perennials) is looking great, as are the beds with the grasses (Stipa tenuissima I think) outside it. But I would dearly like to know who thought bright blue water in the fountain was a good idea. Or has a mischievous person put something in? The same person who put the plastic duckling in the lake, perhaps! :) Edited to say: My guess is the nightshade is the Woody one.

  5. Woody nightshade is also poisonous I think, so maybe you should report it anyway - also does it look wild, or does it look cultivated? (The decorative plant Solanum has a similar flower I think, all members of the potato family??)
  6. Trump Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is the Dog named ? Flower? xxxxxxxx Nah, they're both called Rover. Well, I say both, but actually I've only seen one, but he was called Rover so I expect the other one is too. :))

  8. Yes, saw loads of minnows in the streams, not in the lake tho.

And yes, we saw them all at the same time :) The largest one was on the main island in the middle, the next largest was on one of the smaller islands, and the smallest started off at one point on the main island, then moved to a tree on the other side of the island. Somebody also seems to have put a very lifelike plastic duckling into the water :))

  13. This sort of thing has been going on for a while, I had a similar call a year or so back, they said my PC was running very slowly blah blah. I was very suspicious as I couldn't see how they could possibly know, from Microsoft or anyone else. Don't know what would have happened if I'd agreed to let them connect to the PC as they wanted, as I said I wasn't interested, however they weren't abusive.

Only way to be sure is to phone the organisation they say they're from - and not from a number they give you themselves.

  24. Rogue Apostrophe, love your name :)) Get down to those ED florists immediately (actually that's more the spelling than the greengrocer's apostrophe) :)) Agree, very hard to intervene, I don't hand litter back to the people who dropped it any more, let alone accost someone trying to steal my car, but yes, call the police ....
