I think the Camper shoes are probably worth ?80. I think the baby socks are probably not worth ?20.
  2. Yeh but the trouble with Primark socks is they are unwearable after a couple of washes.

Hurrah! My hour has come :)) Only .... the Camper shop in Oxford Street had a sale recently, and even their sale price shoes were ?80 (6)

I guess you must earn more than me if you don't think ?20 is a lot for six pairs of very tiny socks. Even in a box. Even for a present. My daughter would have turned her nose up at them anyway, not being recycled via a charity shop and all that :))

I also recently overheard another customer returning to the till because he realised he had not been given his cashback. Not just me then.
  7. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :-S
  8. Are they really gone? I only went in there once, to ask the price of a box of six pairs of tiny baby socks in the window. Was told it was ?20. When I reeled back in horror, the assistant said "oh but that's for six pairs, not just one pair" :)):)):)) Oh that makes them really good value, then :)) I didn't buy them .....
  9. Anybody see Rab C Nesbitt last night? Studdism :)) Rab's mate's medical reason for shagging other men's wives :))

  17. Is it possible to have a default setting such that you have to opt in to getting replies to a thread notified to you by email, rather than having to opt out? OR could you be just notified once, until you've opened the thread again? I'm getting inundated again despite having gone through my whole list of "followed threads" and deleted them all ...... I think it may be partly because AOL was down this morning so might be catching up.

  23. That's bad news if it's moving - despite all its shortcomings I find the LL Somerfield very convenient, and I was delighted when I thought it was soon to become a Co-op. Edited to say: Thanks for going to the trouble of finding all that out, Louisa
  24. Oh dear. Sorry to hear that Woodie :-S
