    Review Deleted

I looked up their reviews on Trust Pilot, out of interest, and found yours there! To be fair to them, it does look as if they are resolving this for you? https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.radiators4u.co.uk
  4. I can also highly recommend Glen Scotland +44 7723 019161 who was recommended to me by Steve the Spin Doctor. Helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and very reasonably priced.
  5. Which charity? I really miss Pearspring 😢 The Nunhead Gardener has a great shop within the new Elephant complex. I think it's larger than the Camberwell one.
  6. Do they search you to make sure you aren't taking in your own drinks and popcorn?
  7. The link only seems to be to book a collection, not to order and pay for the bags?
  8. Whereabouts do you live? My post has been OK for a while now. If yours isn't, I suggest you email the CEO of Royal Mail and copy to Helen Hayes. Addresses are in the thread above somewhere. You could give specific examples of what you are still waiting for. You could also copy in your local councillor, if you know which ward you are in.
  9. There is a dog in Crystal Palace Road or Ulverscroft Road , Whateley Road area I think, which has been barking/howling non stop for ages. Does anybody know where it lives? It doesn't sound very happy 😢 ETA: Obviously as soon as I posted this it seems to have stopped .....
  10. 😭😭😭
  11. Do you have the TfL app? That may have shed some light (at the time!) . At least you could have seen when the next bus was due, and possibly why there was a problem. Also that app or Google maps could have shown you an alternative route by public transport? Too late now obviously, but maybe useful for the future?
  12. I have just spoken to my GP (the appointment was for something else) who says there are lots of things currently doing the rounds with similar symptoms to what you describe, and what I have/had. As is only sensible, she said if it doesn't clear up in a few weeks, make an appointment. So if you have had symptoms for two months, you should see your GP, basically! My symptoms have improved in the last few days, so hopefully I won't need to.

    Locked thread

I understand the reasons for locking the Great Exhibition thread. Might it be temporarily unlocked to add this factual information (just posted on my road's What'sApp group)? Turning Point UK have confirmed on their Twitter account that they are meeting at The Great Exhibition tomorrow, Friday 10th, to protest against Drag Storytelling. (Drag Storytelling has been held at The Great Exhibition in the past.) Stand Up to Racism are organising a counter protest to support LGBTQI+ and meeting outside The Great Exhibition from 10am.
  14. By post? - Not if you're served by the ED DO (in Peckham) - you could be waiting weeks - just because the post has most recently improved (as it has for me) that is no guarantee that the improvement will hold. I pick my meds from the Day Lewis Pharmacist in Forest Hill Road - they text me when the meds are ready and I just pick them up. Normally within 3 days (or fewer) of putting in the electronic request to the practice. It's true that if the postal service deteriorates again Lloyds Direct wouldn't be the ideal option! I'll cross that bridge when/if I come to it! But Lloyds NCR is my nearest pharmacy, and to the best of my knowledge they don't text when meds are ready.
  15. I still can't understand why people would go to a pharmacy and hang around while a prescription is made up, unless obviously it is urgently needed that day. By post is so much more convenient, unless you are going in the direction of the pharmacy anyway and have other things to do while the prescription is being prepared!
  16. Do you have any particular reason to think your symptoms are due to a B12 deficiency? I've got similar symptoms which have been going on for weeks, and I know it's definitely not due to that. I had blood tests last year for other reasons, and I was told to stop taking Vit B supplements because I had enough Vit B in my body to last two years 😮 I think my symptoms are either due to tree pollen or some kind of allergic rhinitis, possibly dust from all the building work around. Or else one of the many viruses around this year. Have you tried taking an antihistamine?
  17. Lloyds Direct is fine. I get all my medication delivered straight to my door. Very very rarely any problems and that was Royal Mail rather than Lloyds.

    Mailchimp

Is anybody on here currently using MailChimp? Were you aware that it has been taken over and you now have to pay for emailing more than 500 people? I found this out accidentally. I have just looked at Trust Pilot reviews. One star 😡 Apparently this is from March. Nobody has notified us. I don't know what will happen when I try to send a newsletter this week. Any ideas, anyone? Any other decent free newsletter providers? I don't mind paying, but all this seems very underhand.
  19. Hi Sue, I can see you signed up via the Google form. The email would have been sent on 23rd Feb. Anyone who signed up prior to that date should have had an email sent to them. If you can't see it, let me know and I can resend. Ah ok thank you, I have found it, sorry
  20. Wasn't that service station implicated in some card fraud before,or have I misremembered? It was some years back, and I can't remember the details.
  21. I got mine! Equally shocked!
  22. I saw 2001 when it first came out, and that scene with The Blue Danube in the background was excruciatingly overlong and boring even then 🙄
  23. Can we remove the survey results at the beginning of this thread? They are well out of date now.
